Ulta Credit Card points are pretty valuable, too, worth 3 cents to 6.25 cents each, depending on how many you redeem. Cardholders can also earn elite status and increased rewards rates by spending at least $450 in a calendar year.
The biggest downsides of the Ulta Credit Card are its high APR and the fact that applicants can’t specifically apply for either the Mastercard or store credit card version of the offer. You will first be considered for the Mastercard, which requires a 700+ credit score for good approval odds. If you don’t qualify for the Ulta Mastercard, you will then be considered for the Ulta store credit card, which is generally available to people with credit scores of 640+. Those things don’t have to be deal breakers, though.
Below, you can find more information to help you decide whether or not to apply for the Ulta Card. If you have questions about an existing account, the Ulta Credit Card customer service number is 866-254-9971.
Ulta Credit Card Review Highlights:

Bottom Line: Is the Ulta Credit Card Worth It?
Yes. The Ulta Credit Card is worth it because it has a $0 annual fee and good rewards. Just make sure to pay the bill in full by each due date in order to avoid interest charges, which could skew the value proposition.

I paid this account off a few months ago and it showing the same balance as if it's not getting paid. This can't look good to creditors. A few other places are just as bad.

This is a horrible Credit card company, if you can avoid please do, they charge you interest on late fees even when you paid what you owe without notifying you of your bal and the last time to reported my account to the credit bureau was in June, 2022 living my credit history with a bal of $290 that has been paid off in July. AVOID THEM IF YOU CAN

Since Bread has bought Comenity they aren’t reporting each month & it’s affecting credit scores. I have multiple cards with them. It’s extremely upsetting. It’s not been updated since June 2022.

This happened to me as well. I’ve called them. They said they were having system update issues. Since June 2022? Any, the sent NO notices to consumers to inform them that they were going to stop sending updates to CB’s. Someone was supposed to send me a letter from Ulta Customer Service, stating my true balance so I can send it to CB’s and they mailed out an incorrect letter that I could not use. Second call, I was transferred to another department where they were supposed to upload to CB’s my true balance. That was back in November. Of course, that hasn’t happened. This is messing up my utilization with their incorrect reporting, so I had to dispute this account as inaccurate to get the correct balance showing. BTW, this is the option that the Ulta Customer Svc Rep. gave me. Bread Financial is the worst. I’m looking for an attorney so I can take legal action.

Although this credit card has a high interest rate, I am able to use it at other stores. This convenience has come in handy at times. As long as you make your payments on time they are qwilling to work with you if a problem arises.
