In general, I enjoy my Well Fargo Platinum Credit Card. I had 0% APR for 6 months which was great because I was just learning how to properly use my credit card. My payments can be automatically withdrawn from my account or I can transfer it myself. It's easy to use and Wells Fargo Customer Service is always pleasant to deal with. I have never had any issues with the card, and when I used it on the East Coast the Fraud Center contacted me immediately to confirm that I was the one using the card. I also love that I can immediately deposit cash into Wells Fargo ATMS and make payments that way! When I applied for the card, it took less than a week for e to be approved and I was able to customize it online for free which is a nice gesture on their part. I have never dealt with a more friendly bank. Overall, a great card for someone just starting to build credit and looking to have low monthly payments.

I've had a few ups and downs when using the Wells Fargo Platinum Credit Card. At the beginning it was amazing, seeing how I had a high credit limit and no interest fees for 6 months. But after the "honeymoon" so to speak, it became a bit of a battle. Purchases would take weeks to post to my card, and thus I never knew exactly how much credit I had left at any given time. Guessing would cause me to overdraft occasionally which was very frustrating. These days I've been able to use my card with few problems, but I never know when they will pop up again and cause my credit score to suffer. Hopefully this is just a personal issue, and not something many people deal with on the regular, but I figured it'd be good to share my opinion just in case it has happen to others. Best of luck with your W.F. Platinum card!

The Wells Fargo Platinum Card has been great for me. The annual APR is usually really low, and my credit has been extended multiple times. The service also sends reminders if I am past due for a minimum payment!

This is just your basic card, not too many bells and whistles. I use this mainly as my emergency card, it is linked to my checking account in case of accidental overdraft. Wells Fargo has always provided me with great customer service, and this card is no different. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I haven't had too many problems with my credit card. The only thing that bothers me is the interest rate. I understand this isn't the bank's fault, but it's ridiculous that I'm restricted with what I can do with my own money. Overall, the card has been more bad for me than good, but that's with all credit cards. The temptation is too high to not use it. I have since destroyed the card but it was useful for me at one time.

I have had this card for many years. And while I have little use for it's uncompetitive 1% flat-rate rewards, it has a 2.99% + Prime rate which I negotiated before the turn of the decade and the tightening of that tactical option used over the phone with a service rep. It also has such a high limit, I was able to create my start-up (food truck).

I have had the Wells Fargo Platinum credit card for over a year now. This has been my first credit card and overall the experience has been very good. I was approved quickly and received the card in a timely manner. So far I only use my card for gasoline and emergencies, paying off any debt I have immediately which has been working for me very well in building my credit score.

The 0% interest rate is great, as long as you do not spend more than you can pay off. After the six months I had a balance that I could not pay off and a very high interest rate. Obviously this is my fault, and not Wells Fargo. Right now the card is canceled and I am working on paying it off. While I did have it, it was always approved quickly. If you cannot pay off the balance before the interest is added I would recommend looking for a card with a lower interest rate.

I had just moved out to Tempe, Arizona to go to Arizona State University. I had no credit cards prior to this so I figured it was going to be very hard to get one that suited me well. I had been banking with Wellsfargo since I could remember. I figured I would give them a shot first and maybe try others later. I was not let down. The low APR was awesome. They even gave me a credit limit of 800 to start off with. I wasn’t expecting anything more than 500. To this day it’s the only credit card I use. I’ve had nothing wrong happen and my limit keeps going up. 5 out of 5 stars.
