1st Bank Mortgage Rates

This bank is a joke. After being pre-approved, and weeks of sending sensitive info & documents they denied the loan because we are entrepreneurs making enough income but with 1099s and not W-2. They prefer people with low income working on MacDonalds. Anyone can get fired even these loan officers. What matters is your income and good credit line and we did have enough to prove it. Hope they won't sell or use unlawfully our personal info. Little banks like this one can be hacked easily. Go some place else. Don't waste your time and energy with this joke bank.

I recently got a mortgage with this bank. It's not a terrible bank by any stretch of the imagination. However, I have a lot of difficulty with the customer service end. It seems that a lot of the time it is difficult to get a hold of someone who speaks English properly so there is a little of "huh?" and "what" going on in. Sometimes the customer service representatives will slowly hold your hand and this can be a little bit annoying when you've already done this a few times. I just wanted more information about a refinance. Eventually I got through to someone who knew what was going on, but it was a very annoying experience. Otherwise I have had no problems with this bank.
