I been either bank for only a short time but have had no problems I had my loan some where else and it was transferred do you have any programs that might be able st save me any money that aren’t overly costly
Very pleased with how US Bank has treated us since establishing a relationship with them. I’ve banked with WF and other big banks and CU’s and can say that this has been the best overall experience! We started with a mortgage refi because our local CU financed my home purchase at a much higher interest rate and PMI (less than a year ago).
US Bank now has our Mortgage (without PMI), Heloc, and Credit Card. Highly recommended!
They mail you 3 letters a month about thier credit cards and now spam email to boot about he same damn card I don't want 7 years ago and dont want today. I only have a morgage with you, leave me alone!!
Closed on home 4 months ago, and lender sold loan to USBANK. USBANK is HORRIBLE! Antiquated service in EVERY regard. I'm always attempting to pay my mortgage 3-5 days EARLY, but login and receive this message: "Sorry, our system is currently unavailable. Please try again later." I literally try several times a day, up until the first day of the month when - after the 1st of every month - they apply $5.00 fee. When I call to explain what's happening to their customer service reps, offering to email them every print screen I've taken at each login attempt, they don't care and will not waive a fee. Hoping to join a class action lawsuit against USBANK for dishonest business practices in forcing customers into a late fee after the 1st of each month, after preventing customers of having the ability to pay online & on time! It's just plain wrong. Had no choice who my lender sold my loan to, and can't wait to switch from USBANK at the first opportunity! If you have a choice, do not choose US BANK!
My experience with US Bank has been a nightmare. I have a home that was partially damaged by another home that burned down next to me. Nine months later I have all the repairs done, my insurance company has been fine and my constant problem has been US Bank. Every time I get a check for reimbursement I have to send it to them and then it takes forever to get it sent back to me. Every time there are new excuses about why they can’t release the funds. I have sent reams of material to them but it is an ever-changing standard. I will never have anything to do with them again in my life .

Their practices run like this (for home loans):
The 1st banker will almost agrees to all the questions you propose and tell you darling you're perfect and qualify for whatever you want.
Once you're LURED into the trap, the 1st crook will push you to the 2nd crook whom might or MIGHT NOT work for the bank (but has a US BAnk email address to look like he/she works for the bank). The 2nd crook probably cheated on his series 7 exam cuz he could never calculate the mortgage rate right (each time gives you different rate, like 6-7 times).
For simple issues such as 'can you lock the rate tomorrow', the 2nd crook will tell you Yes Yes Yes and will never follow up. YOU are the ONE they EXPECT TO FOLLOW UP WITH OR DISAPPEAR FROM them because please don't bother the bank, it's busy drinking vodka shots or playing with their fingers at work.
Then, if you follow up for an answer, it will drag on for 10 times more than a normal bank would need. If you DARE TO CALL and FOLLOW UP, sorry the voice messages have problems, they can't hear unless you copy some supervisors, then the next second, they suddenly can hear the messages. But, they will avoid your questions and call you at 4:59pm just so they can leave at 5pm and tell you they would give an answer on Monday. Next time you hear from them is in 2080.
'PLEASE JUST DISAPPEAR YOURSELF' - is all they ask for. So, we disappear and find another bank.
BTW, 2nd crook has never responded or followed up after the initial contact.
Now, the bank is living happily ever after.
Let it stay in a fairy tale and wait for another financial crisis' kiss to wake it up.
Tried to prepay my 1/1/18 mortgage payment online to pull in the interest expense on my 2017 interest deductions to manage around the changing tax laws. It has been a nightmare. I wish I would have left it alone. The online tool can't handle the payment. I've called them 4 times now to fix and it still isn't fixed. So I paid the mortgage payment in December, but my online statement still says my 1/1/18 mortgage payment is due. To boot, I received a letter in the mail saying I still owed payment for 1/1/18. I guess the 4 people I spoke with couldn't craft a letter stating that my 1/1/18 bill was paid.

Before submitting an application, always verify with the issuing institution (i.e. bank, credit union, other lender) the rates, fees, and all terms and conditions accompanying the application.
