This bank used to be a good. But now i dont see any good service. I deposited small check and they hold my check for more than 10 business days after 10 days i called them and asked they said they dont know why they hold my check. . And again i deposited one more check And they hold again. And i called to customer care but they didnt make me satisfied.
I called capital one bank this afternoon to order a replacement check card. I was on hold for 30 min then finally someone answered. He was so rude and unprofessional to begin with then he told me he can’t locate my account. Really ?? I have been a customer for over 15 years and you can’t find me in the system ? I asked him if he was having net work issues then he said no , “ I have been at work since 8:30 and no issues.” Then he told me that , “well you can go to a branch and get a new card. “ I told him I know that but I have small kids and can’t wait in line with them that’s why I do online banking. I asked for a supervisor, he placed me on hold for another 20 min then never picked up again. Wow capital one what a service you have!! I stopped going to your brunches because of your rude employees now I can’t even get a decent service on the phone. I am thinking about closing my accounts. can I transfer money from a capital one credit card to my 360 checking account if the card hasn't arrived yet?? I have received routing number and account number and it is currently being sent.. any info is helpful, thanks
There can still be substantial fees if using ATMs out of their network. Also, they insist you do not need to let them know if you are traveling, but your first several attempts to use the associated debit card out of the country will be declined until you verify the transactions through email or text. I just spend an hour with the claims department. Great personal attention by the representative but the bank makes it impossible for him to get answers or assume responsibility. He was unable to accomplish the following: - Not able to explain why customer security held a check without informing us. - Not able to explain why a bill setup on line to be paid on March 3, using Capital One bill payer, was still not received by March 16. - Not able to get Capital One to send a note apologizing to the individual who has not received the payment. - Not able to track what went wrong with Bill Payer without having us make a claim and stop the payment. - We were informed that Capital One uses the US Mail and that bills may be paid 8-10 days after the due date and when the funds are deducted from our account. The advertising on the Bill Payer website is false. We also visited a Capital One branch and they said the only thing they could do was give us the number of the claims department.…show more
Capital One has horrible customer service and policies. There were $500 in fraudulent charges made via my checking account. Capital One waits 10 business days to issue a provisional credit the funds pending their investigation. Bank of America, Chase, and basically every other bank I've ever banked with credit your money back IMMEDIATELY. Meanwhile, I've already paid bills from this account. So I'm screwed. Your money WILL NOT BE SAFE AT THIS BANK.
i am a little disappointed with this bank. I can't transfer between certain banks. Also the Overdraft Next Day Grace is per their discretion. I had it for about two weeks, working great. I have weekly direct deposit so it always covers the cost. Now they won't let me use it at all. And for no reason since my DD covers it immediately. I have another bank account and I can use my overdraft as much as I want as long as it is replaced within 72 hours again I have DD. So I opted out since they won't pay even a dollar over. I like the no fees but the Overdraft whats the point of offering if you get to pick when.…show more
I reported a fraudulent website that sent me a $1 stuffed animal instead of $500 golf clubs. They said they would check into it and submit it as "goods not delivered" but would get back with me IF they needed anything else. I offered screenshots and photos but they said "not now". A few weeks later after not getting any alerts through the APP that I use I decided to log on using a desktop and found deep inside the website after signing in I had to click on the specific account and then click "account services" and then go to "alerts and messages" then click "view messages" only to find two messages that I could not ever find in the APP. (When my car loan is due I get a big red bubble alert on the home page) When I viewed the messages after a long holiday weekend, the first one asked for additional information which I previously offered and the second one due to a lack of response the claim was denied (within a week). Shocking and Unbelievable. I am now in the process of trying to close my accounts but I spent an hour searching the website for an email or an electronic way to close the account and cannot find anything.
