This company is very difficult to deal with. They will shut you down at any given time. We had an old bank account from 2 years ago magically pop up on there system which obviously was closed. We had to go wire them money. It was ridiculous. Even after we fixed it, 2 days later we are going through it again. Be very aware of what might happen. If you are on the road and they mess up your account good luck wiring them money.

This account has been pretty much hassle free since I've had it. It's awesome for my needs right now since it serves for my college loan disbursements as well as my direct deposits. The free transactions at my school ATMs are a blessing, and since my card has the MasterCard logo I can use my account just about anywhere. I love the fact that even when I don't get student loans, since I have direct deposit on the account it is still fee free! The customer service has always met my needs, but it'd be nice if they were open with live people 24/7.

As a business owner, the Sunoco Gas Card grabs my attention. I have a habit of paying off company credit cards monthly and with the passenger vans we utilize, I could easily see us using almost 6,000 gallons a month. I am currently using a Mobil Gas Credit Card that charges 24.99% and am only offered 6 cents off the first one hundred gallons a month. Sunoco gives me the immediate savings I’m looking at the cost of paying basically upfront. Another feature that sticks out to me is that if I am out of a Sunoco area, I can use my card almost anywhere. If you have more than 5 vehicles then I would think that Sunoco is worth looking at.
The Sunoco Gas card is pretty nifty in that you can save money on gasoline just by using it! I like how there is no annual fee, but to make sure that you get the benefits from it, you basically have to commit to paying off the card in full every month. The interest rate is too high to justify carrying a balance with the paltry amount of rewards. For a business owner, this would seem like it could be a great deal with discounts for fleet vehicles. The rest of the benefits are pretty standard and there is nothing major that would make this card stand out. I think I would plan on sticking with gas stations that give discounts for direct debits or have their own reward cards that are not credit cards. This one just doesnt seem really worth it.
The Sunoco Gas Card is your typical gas card that almost every major gas station try's to get you to get from them by putting up signs at the pump and such. The Sunoco Gas Card does not really offer any thing special at least at first, over the years and if you buy enough gas you will start to save money in the tune of 1.5 to 3.5 cents per gallon. But even to get that you will need to charge at least five hundred gallons of gas on your card. If you can avoid it and have a Shell in your area I would suggest skipping Sunoco and heading over to Shell.
Sunoco Gas Card is an interesting card, you must pay the entire balance in full each month or it gives you a late fee of 2% or $10 dollars minimum, but if you buy large amounts of fuel with Sunoco, this card has some great benefits. If you drive a lot or run a business that will uses a large amount of fuel you can save up 3.5 cents per gallon if you spend up to 10,000 gallons a month. That 3.5 cent savings definitely will add up if you are buying that much gas, so this card will save you a lot of money.
The Sunoco Gas Card is useful for businesses with large fleets. It can be used at over 200,000 locations, including over 4,700 Sonoco stations. A 3.5 cents savings per gallon is awarded for 10,000 gallons purchased per month, with smaller savings rates applied for lesser totals. I doubt that this card would be of much benefit to an individual consumer, as most of the features seemed designed for high volume purchasers. However, if you work in commercial transportation, this card might have some good benefits, including a dedicated account manager, to assist with daily fleet operations.
Like other gas cards like the Valero Gas Card, the Sunoco Gas Card is useless unless you drive a lot, and even then it's useless for anything but that for the most part. Luckily there is no annual fees or it would have only been two stars. The balance must be paid off every month, LUCKILY you don't need even good credit to get it. If you are the owner of a large fleet of trucks are something to that effect is the only case in which the Sunoco Gas Card could possibly be worthwhile. For those specific people however, it may be a good option, if they have weak credit and can't get a formal business card, that is.
The Sunco Gas Card is designed for large commercial businesses that need to fuel a large fleet of vehicles. So if you are an average Joe like most of us this is not the card for you. You’ll see savings in the form of 3.5 cents back per gallon when your company spends over 10,000 gallons in a single month, and 1.5 cents back per gallon when you use as little as 500 gallons. Considering the current price of gas, you might be better off with another type of rewards card if you don’t purchase a big volume of gasoline.
The Sunoco Gas card is an interesting card that does have some benefits, to say the least. It would appear that this is only (or primarily) a gas card, meaning you can only use the card for gas purchases. If you do this, there are some moderate benefits to be had; depending on how much you fill up, you can save more on your next purchase. While this may be a useful card if you go to this specific gas company frequently, the actual benefits require huge amounts of gas, way more than the average family uses in a month! It may look good, but this is probably only useful if you use gas in bulk.
