We have been using State Farm for our renters insurance for a couple of years now and it's been great. Granted we have not had to use the policy, but still they provide us a great service. Their online site is great and easy to use, getting in touch with someone by phone or email is quick and easy (we always have questions), and overall I think the prices are very competitive. We even got a discount for having an alarm. I would recommend them to friends and plan on continuing to use them for all our home insurance needs.
I used to be a Wells Fargo customer but decided to leave after I saw that the bank wasnât keeping up with technology. I am very pro-technology and want my bank to be the same and adopt new technology as it comes. I just felt like Wells Fargo was behind on the times when it came to their ATMs, online bill pay and account website, and their iPhone/iPad apps. Wells Fargo is just about average to me and did OK, but I would rather bank with a company that is more technology savvy because thatâs more in tune with my lifestyle.
I think Chase banks are ok but I think they have a few things to improve upon. I do like that there are so many branches located all over that you can always find an ATM or bank to use. I was not a big fan of their online services though. The website is very confusing and even more confusing if you want to use it to pay your bills automatically. Sometimes even though payments were set, I still questioned if it would work properly. I think with some technology updates, they would have a way better website. I do think they have very advanced ATMs though which a definite plus. Overall, it’s better than most others, but has room for improvement.
I think Bank of America is great. I’ve been with them for 4-years now and I have never had an issue. Also, their website and mobile apps are a big plus for me. I live by online banking through their site and bill pay features are the best I’ve seen compared to other banks. Their mobile apps for iPhone and iPad are great and easy to use on the go. Not to mention, they were one of the first banks to get rid of envelopes at their ATMs. Just insert your cash and checks and it does the counting for you. I think Bank of America has a lot of great perks for being a customer and I plan on staying here for the long haul.
