Very happy to write a review for Webster Credit Union. I needed to have a place to have a simple old fashioned savings account, without any of the bells and whistles of larger banks. I wanted on-line banking to keep things streamlined, but didn't want to pay any huge fees for customer service or transactions. Webster Credit Union was recommended to me by a current customer, and I couldn't be happier. I've had no complaints since opening an account with them a while back. I know the money is good where it is, is accessible when I need it, and that there is always someone available should I run into a question or problem.
I am more than happy to write a positive review for Travelers Insurance. They have provided us with top notch service in the past. We used them for our home insurance and had absolutely no issues or problems with the company. Setting up the policy was quick and easy - a short in-office appointment was all we needed, and a few faxes/phone calls/emails to tie up loose ends. They worked around our schedules and made everything very convenient for us. Our annual policy renewal always included notes of places we might make adjustments to save money or provide us with a more appropriate insurance level. I wouldn't hesitate one bit to recommend Travelers Insurance.
My husband's office had a special arrangement to get a discounted rate on car insurance through MetLife. The rates were a bit cheaper than what we were currently paying, so we looked into it just to check things out. Boy, are we glad we took that step! We've been very happy with MetLife for our car insurance these past few years. The rates are great, but on top of that we get fantastic customer service. It seems like they are always trying to save us money, which is just the opposite of what you would expect from a large insurance company. We constantly get notices about special rates we could qualify for, or ways to save a few bucks by changing our policy a smidge. We've been really quite happy and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a car insurance company.
It would be tough for me to recommend Arbella without many reservations We had our car insurance with them for a few years, mostly at the suggestion of our agent and because it saved us a few dollars. But we did eventually leave them and pursue car insurance with a different company because of the terrible customer service we received at Arbella. The fundamentals of the insurance were strong - everything we needed and at a reasonable price. On paper, they are definitely comparable to their competition. But in person, it was a whole different story! One little fender bender which was through no fault of our own, and the hassles began. Everything we needed was like pulling teeth! Back and forth with customer service, calls unanswered and unreturned, policies not paid attention to....after a while, it just got too much. Once our situation was cleared up and everything was back to normal, we researched other companies and made the switch. Perhaps this was just our experience with Arbella, but I would be afraid to recommend them without some hesitation.
We're really very, very pleased and happy with TD Bank. They just opened up a branch that is totally convenient to us here in town and we've been very happy with the service we've received so far. Usually pretty loyal to our credit union, but we've found that the customer service and amenities offered at TD Bank have been really fantastic and we are pleased to hold a savings account with them. Some folks might view them as another "big" bank, but in our experience we've found them to be more along the lines of an old fashioned small town bank, where fees are reasonable and well explained and customer satisfaction is their top priority. I can't speak to all of their other services, but I would totally recommend TD Bank to anyone looking to start a savings account with them.
We're lucky that we are located right near the headquarters for Digital Federal Credit Union, so we have found their locations to be really very convenient to us. But in the instances where a branch is not available to us, we appreciate that we can be reimbursed for ATM fees should we need to do a transaction through another bank's system. Their rates are average, definitely on par with what the other banks and credit unions are offering. Their customer service is wonderful, we have never run into any trouble with unexplained fees or surprise charges. All in all, I'd recommend Digital Federal Credit Union to anyone needing an alternative to the big banks in the area.
I am rather neutral about SunTrust Bank, but in this day and age of banking problems, I think that’s a good thing! I can say that while I’m not totally overwhelmingly thrilled to death and over-the-moon about them, I’m also not inclined to say anything negative about them – I guess you could say I’m satisfied. Our account with them was opened quite a while back and since then we’ve not had any issues that needed customer service intervention. We’ve been happy with their services and notifications, and their fees are not unreasonable or unexpected as with some of the other larger banks. When we did visit a branch, we found the staff quite confident and professional and we appreciated the personal service. I would not hesitate to recommend SunTrust Bank if you need someplace to put your money and not worry about it.
I am so happy to write a review for Leominster Credit Union. We have been members for three years now, and I can't say enough positive comments about the service we have received since we joined. The staff is excellent - they know me by name, have nice personal conversations with me each time I visit, and (most importantly) have lollipops ready for the kids! As far as banks go, they make it really easy to do business with them - I've never had a problem with a transaction, no unexpected fees have been charged, and no policies have been changed without warning - which is more than I can say about our experiences with some of the larger banks! It is really nice to work with a small community bank and I would definitely recommend joining them, they are top rate in the area!
I have been with Chase for over 10 years now and am quite pleased with the experience. The availability of services on the web is convenient and their live customer service also can't be beat. As far as credit cards go, we never carry a balance and always pay in full each month so I can't speak to their fees or interest charges, but I have been quite happy with the services and perks provided for being a card holder. They do seem genuinely interested in offering special values to their cardholders, as I'm always getting email and mail notices about special programs and incentives. I have been quite happy with my experiences with Chase and would recommend them without hesitation.
We've had a savings account at ING for a few years now, and we have been totally happy and satisfied with it. We opened the savings account when we were unhappy with our banking situation (too many fees!) and were pretty much just looking for a place to put some of our money and watch it grow. ING had a good interest rate at the time, and it turned out to be a fine choice for us. We've never had any troubles with the account or with customer service, and are really quite satisfied. I would recommend ING to anyone looking for an easy savings account.
I am happy to write a positive review for Sovereign Bank. We actually didn't select this bank - years ago, when BankBoston changed over to Bank of America, our account got automatically transferred over to Sovereign Bank. We were unfamiliar with the bank, but have been happy keeping our account there because we have never had any negative experience with them. We've found their customer service to be helpful - their website is setup to be quite easily navigated and when you do need to speak to a live person they are knowledgeable and attentive. To sum it up, we've been very happy with the service and products at Sovereign Bank.
With Bank of America, I feel you get both the best, and the worst, that a bank has to offer. The best part is availability of locations - they are located everywhere! And if there is not a branch nearby, there is certainly an ATM that is easily accessible. And their presence on the web is really second to none, as far as banks are concerned. Unfortunately, the flip side is that the fees are high - much higher than working with a local credit union or smaller bank. And they charge you a fee for everything! Unless you are keeping extraordinary amounts of money with them, count on being charged monthly fees as well as convenience fees for most of your banking transactions.
