I've been with State Farm for my home insurance for about a year now, since I purchased my first home. Out of all the companies I looked into, State Farm offered me the lowest rate and applying was quick and easy. The few times I've spoken to them, the customer service representatives have been very polite and helpful. Overall, I've had a completely positive experience with State Farm, since my rate has stayed low and I haven't had any complaints. Thankfully I have yet to need to file a claim with them, but I would be surprised if I had any issues with that. I'm glad I chose them and certainly recommend looking into State Farm if you're looking for homeowners insurance.
I had GEICO car insurance for about a year when I purchased my newest car. During that time, I had no complaints about the plan I had. My monthly premium was reasonable with respect to the coverage I was offered, the customer service was good, and their website was simple and easy to use. The application process was quick and painless to fill out and submit, and their website even had a way to submit a claim online, though I didn't end up filing any claims while I was with them, luckily. If you can get a monthly payment that works for you at GEICO, I would highly recommend considering them, since my experience was so great.
I have been with Progressive since I purchased my car in late 2003. I chose them because they had the lowest rates I could find, and they've stayed low over the years. The sign-up was quick and easy, and I set up my payments to auto-withdraw. I really have nothing bad to say about my experience with Progressive. I haven’t had any issues with my policy, the website is simple and easy to use, and the one time I spoke to a customer service rep, he was polite and solved my issue right away. Luckily, I’ve never had to file a claim, so I can’t speak on that side of things. I would definitely recommend looking at Progressive before choosing your car insurance plan…they’ve been great for me!
I've been a with Wells Fargo (and Wachovia before them) for almost 10 years now. I've really had nothing but positive experiences with this bank and its customer service...in fact, I've noticed an improvement since Walls Fargo took over. The only downside for me has been the scarcity of branches around where I live, but that seems to be changing for the better. It would be nice if there were more Wells Fargo ATMs in my area, though. Their online banking is very well done, and I use the site almost every day. Their customer service reps and tellers have always been polite and helpful. I would recommend Wells Fargo to anyone that lives in an area that has a few branches.
I've been a Chase member for about 7 years now. Honestly, I've never had any negative experience with them that wasn't my own fault (overdraft fees & an abused credit card I've been trying to pay off for years). Whenever I've had to contact Chase customer service, they've been friendly and helpful in resolving my problem. Their iPhone app for depositing checks has proved to be quite useful, and has come in handy especially for me, since I recently moved from Chicago to Nashville, where no Chase banks currently exist. My experience with Chase has been so positive that I remain a customer even when I have no access to a local branch. My only small complaint would be their website account management and Blueprint...it could be a little more flexible and intuitive, but they seem to be working on it.
