I just switched to Progressive after being insured with State Farm for over fifteen years. I called in to compare prices on Auto Insurance after I had seen their commercial over and over on television and thought, why not? I have four autos and one motorcycle. The quote from Progressive on my four autos was fifty dollars cheaper per month than I was paying. I was so surprised and immediately switched companies. I did compare the rate on my motorcycle, but progressive was higher than State Farm. However, I was happy with the money I saved just on the four autos.
I first joined this bank because it was close to where I work. The tellers are always friendly. They started to call me by name after a few weeks. I did have an overdraft once, and it was totally my fault. I went into the bank and explained I made an error. The teller was so nice and automatically took the overcharge off since it was my first time. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a friendly bank. They also got me a cheaper rate for my auto loan. They are very knowledgeable and friendly and save me money on finance charges I would have been paying elsewhere.
I have had car insurance with State Farm for 12 years now. My husband and I have 1 car, 3 trucks and a Harley insured with State Farm. Everyone in the office is friendly and fast. I do not have to go to the office every year to sign a new plan either which is a time saver. My agent just sends me the monthly bill since I pay monthly and I even can pay online. The online account information is very useful because it lists all of your policies and the amount due per vehicle. I have only had to make one claim with them since I have been with them. My car was broke into and someone stole my radio as well as cut my convertible top. I called my agent that afternoon and the next morning a claims agent was at my house. I got my check for repairs right there and my car was in the shop that afternoon being repaired. Great service and not a hassle.
I have had an account with Wells Fargo for about a year now since it changed from Wachovia. The tellers are very friendly, I even know some by name, as they do me when I come in. I do like the new way to save plan that is linked to your checking account. You have $1.00 for every debit card purchase deducted from your checking and put into your saving account. I have been pleased with management as for as keeping me informed of the new services they offer. I once over-drafted my account, and called the customer service number to inquire about the charge. The customer service rep took the charge off without me even asking! Great bank.
