Out of the 3 years that I have banked with Citibank, I have had very few issues, but, the issues that I HAVE had, were very problematic and I had a hard time getting them resolved. The main problem I had was direct deposit. I had set it up correctly, but my money was not getting deposited. After talking for hours on the phone, we determined that the numbers that were given to me on a sheet of paper from the bank that were needed for direct deposit, were the wrong numbers. Other then that though, it's been a great bank to bank with.
I have been banking with Transit Employees Federal Credit Union for almost a year now. The best thing about them is their customer service. I have always had great experiences when dealing with them over the phone and in person. Problems that I have had with them have always been resolved within hours. They have also waved a couple fees for me just because. The problems that I have had have been very minor. I was also able to get my statement emailed to me instead of getting an actual paper statement every month.
I have had a savings account with Discover Bank for almost three years now. I haven't had any issues, or problems with them when it comes to my account. The only issue I had was trying to set up direct deposit. I sat on the phone with them for almost two hours talking to different representatives that had no clue what was going on. It got resolved though. The customer service is great, the rates are great. Overall, it is a great bank to bank with. I would not change to another bank. I also recommend this bank to everyone I know.
I have been with State Farm insurance for over 5 years. I have never had any issues with them as far as my policy. I had to only give five stars though because I don't always get the greatest customer service when I have an issue and call them. There have been a few times that I have not gotten my issue resolved when I called. I tried to escalate the issue to the manager a few times, but never could get through. So, I have ended up having to go into the store to get my issue resolved a few different times. Other than the customer service though, they are really a great insurance company.
My fiance and I switched to Allied insurance about five months ago for our car. We used to have some other crappy insurance, and they were charging us an arm and a leg! Allied insurance was offered to us through Wells Fargo Bank. We were able to set it up right there at our local Wells Fargo Bank. What we pay each month, is twelve dollars cheaper then what we were paying before. It's the cheapest we have ever paid on car insurance. We haven't had any issues with them at all. We were late on a payment one month and they were very understanding and extended our car insurance to keep us covered until we could make the payment. I would highly recommend this insurance company.
