My mortgage is through Glendale Federal Credit Union. GFCU has been very good to us. The people are always pleasant when I go in to make my monthly mortgage payment. I have not had a single issue with the people at GFCU or with my mortgage. I've never been late though, so I'm not sure if you'll run in to a headache if that happens to you. If you want a simple mortgage and friendly people to give your monthly payment to, then look no farther than GFCU. My children have gone to GFCU for mortgages as well, when they were first going out on their own and purchasing homes for their own families. I recommend them to others as well.
I use First Coast Federal Credit Union for my checking account. I have been very satisfied and if I needed another of the services that they offer I would go to them before checking with another company. My checking account has never offered me any issues and the staff are so courteous. It's the personal touches that matter most. The staff remember my name and they always ask about my family. The personal touches are why I love FCFCU so much! They make me feel like family and not like a number on an account. If you need a checking account I would recommend that you go to them first!
I took out a personal loan with PNC a few years ago. I checked a few big banks and even some small credit unions in town. PNC gave me the best rate and the biggest loan. It was more than enough to get me through the time between jobs. There was only one time that my payment was late and even though it was the result of my own stupidity they gave me a break and I didn't have to pay a late fee. I had such a great experience with PNC and my personal loan that I've since gone back for a loan on my new car and one for my family's new home! I would recommend PNC for any loan need you might have.
I use Family Trust Federal Credit Union for my checking and savings accounts. I don't use them for anything big, but my paycheck is auto deposited in there. I have not had a problem with it yet. I was worried about it, though, when my employer said that it would be required to have auto deposit put in to place. I really only use my account to write a few checks for bills each month and to take some cash out for groceries and gas. This account works very well for me and I don't have any complaints. The cashiers are always so friendly and kind. I like to go in there to make my withdrawals instead of using the ATM because the people are so nice. I recommend them to anyone who likes nice people and simple banking.
I used to be a B of A customer. I'm glad that I'm not any longer. I had nothing but trouble from them the entire time I was a customer there. There was an issue with my mortgage that involved me having to drive four hours away, on the first of every month, to make my payment in person. They took six months to figure that nonsense out before they finally let me make my payments online again. There is no physical location closer to me than that and that made them a trouble to me as well. The employees do not care about the customers or about how they are treated. I do not recommend them and I would like to say that I'm very happy with my new bank.
I have business insurance from The Robbins Insurance Agency, Inc. My husband and I started a small business a couple of years ago and we were told that we would need to have insurance because we were going to be entering clients’ homes and working with their computers. We didn't want any trouble, but as a newly started business we thought that there was no way we would be able to afford insurance for the business and contemplated going without it at least for the time being. My husband talked me out of it and we went to The Robbins Insurance Agency for some help. They were so very helpful and they worked with us to find the best plan for us. We've never had to make a claim, but I'm still so grateful that we have them backing us up if we ever need them to.
Hingham Federal Credit Union is where I went to take out a mortgage for my home. I was recently divorced and new to handling my own money. My husband had done all of that for me. I wanted someone who would not only give me a good rate, but also give me a good customer service. I needed to have everything explained to me, sometimes more than once. I wanted to be able to understand everything that was happening with each step of the process. I was able to get that at HFCU. I have been very happy with my choice in lenders and have since recommended them to others in my community. I use them for other services as well and have no regrets whatsoever.
Patterson Federal Credit Union has been the holder of my past three car loans. I originally went with them because out of the five local places I applied to, they were the first ones to respond with a positive answer. Since that time I have been able to witness their aptitude with handling my business and any concerns time and time again. I recommend friends and family to use their services all the time. At this point for loans or checking accounts I will only deal with PFCU. I recently opened an account for my toddler son as well. We're saving for college and I'm getting him started with the right place, early on!
I have a family with three small children. When I got laid off from my job I just didn't know how we were going to make it. In the end I turned to Clare Bank for a personal loan to get us through a couple of months while I started my own business. Luckily Clare Bank was able to help me out. With our expenses covered for four months, before I even needed to start thinking about anything else I was able to focus completely on my new photography business and surprise surprise! It took off! And it's been going full scale ever since. I've since paid back the personal loan from Clare Bank and switched my checking and savings accounts over to them. The customer service is really the best I've found anywhere. I recommend them to friends all the time.
I went to Bangor Federal Credit Union for my car loan a couple of years ago. They were extremely helpful with everything and the whole process went smoothly. I've been very happy with my rate and the customer service can't be beat. They're always so kind and helpful. They really know what they're doing. Each time I go in to make a payment, or just with a question, I always leave satisfied and content with my choice to go to BFCU for my car loan needs. I recommend them all the time and plan to go to them again should the need arise for another car loan.
1st Bank is where I have my checking account. I use it for simple things. Direct deposit of my paycheck, online purchases, and I also have some bills taken out automatically. I use my debit card almost daily and I've never had an issue with it working or with 1st Bank in any way. It's simple and straightforward and fair. I recommend them all the time and have actually been mostly responsible for getting five people to sign up for their accounts through 1st Bank. The customer service people there had the rest of the work to get them signed up though.
I needed to start putting money away for a rainy day. I was tired of having something happen with the car or one of the kids and having no way to take care of the bill without ending up owing family or a credit card company. I told my husband we were getting a savings account and that was that. I went to Morris Sheppard Texarkana Federal Credit Union because we already had a checking account there that we were happy with. I opened our account easily, quickly, and painlessly. We've been putting in a few dollars a week for a while now and it came in really handy last week when we needed to get new ball bearings for our car. We were able to pay for it ourselves without having any debt and we could do it quickly too! The interest may not be much, but every little bit helps!
I went to Franklin Trust Federal Credit Union quite some time ago to set up a checking account when my work place started a mandatory direct deposit paycheck plan. I don't trust banks, but still needed to get paid. I was in a rough spot and I was unhappy with the whole situation to begin with. A friend of mine suggested that I try FTFCU and see if they could help me. Luckily, they could. The process was simple and the people there were able to answer my questions. Not trusting banks, I wanted to be sure that I knew exactly what I was getting myself in to with a credit union too. They were patient and answered all of my questions without pressuring me to make a decision too quickly. I've been happy with my decision so far.
I wouldn't say I'm a fan of Wells Fargo exactly, but I have been doing business with them for quite a few years. I've never had any real problems with them, but I haven't had any great experiences either. The checking account that I've had for quite a while has had its share of standard problems. Overdrafts that shouldn't have happened were quickly remedied. Fines that shouldn't have been taken from my account were put back. There have been quite a few mini issues over the years, but they've always been taken care of. A bad thing for a good thing. I suppose it all evened itself out and that's why I'm still with Wells Fargo after all these years. Not too much to complain about, but not too much to brag about either. They're fairly average I would say.
I turned to Clinton County Federal Credit Union when I was looking to get a mortgage for my current home, because I already had a checking account through them and loved it. The customer service is usually amazing and they're always either able to answer my questions on the spot or can find me an answer within a very short period of time. This was my first mortgage and they made it so easy for me to understand all of the technical and legal mumbo jumbo that was going on. I felt very comfortable and trusting when working with them and have never regretted my decision to turn to them for my big decision. I recommend them to anyone in the area that is looking for a mortgage or a simple checking account.
I haven't had any problems with my First Niagara Checking Account. They're always pleasant and when they switched me from Key bank to First Niagara I went in to find out exactly what was going to be different. They showed me a nice chart and explained everything to me about how their system had looked at my previous usage and determined which checking and savings accounts would be best for me in my current situation. The checking account is perfect for me and my husband as there is no minimum and no charge as long as we choose to just get our statement online instead of in the mail. We already did that any way so it was no big deal. We're pretty happy with the switch so far.
I didn't have any credit history and was finding it hard to find a credit card that would approve me. I already had an account with Utah Federal Credit Union and then found out that it offered credit card services. I figured what the heck and applied through them and was shocked to find out that I was approved! I was ecstatic! I love my new credit card and as long as I stay on top of the bills everything should continue to go in a positive manner. I already loved my checking and savings accounts and now I love my credit card too!
I was having some personal trouble and I went to First Castle Federal Credit Union for help. I was laid off from my job and decided to use that opportunity to start my own small business. A dream I've always had. The only problem was that I needed to have enough money to cover living expenses for a few months until I could get my business off the ground. FCFCU was amazingly helpful and I managed to get a personal loan that got me and my family through three months of getting the new business up and running. I love my job now and I'll forever be grateful to the FCFCU for giving me the chance to live my dream!
Corry Jamestown Credit Union was my local credit union, but that wasn't enough for me to use them. I began my search for someone to help with my financial needs with a list of requirements and at the top of that list was friendly and knowledgeable staff. I began my search by calling a few local places and asking the same list of questions to each place. What are the fees for the checking accounts? Do you offer services for small businesses? Do you have cd's? One location was out right away because I dealt with an extremely rude staff member who also didn't seem to have much in the way of knowledge about the company she worked for. That was a deal breaker for me, especially when I had a credit union like Corry Jamestown Credit Union that was so knowledgeable and helpful at every turn. Needless to say, they were the winners of my service.
I was so tired of big banks charging me fees while they were using my money to get richer. It wasn't fair and I was sick of it! I cancelled my accounts with them after a particularly bad experience with several rude tellers and higher ups. I took my money and never looked back. However, recently my job started a mandatory direct deposit and I needed a checking account. I refused to go back to a big bank so I decided to go somewhere local and friendly. I checked out all of the credit unions close by and Northern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union was by far the most friendly and the most helpful. I love them there and they always seem happy to see me when I stop by. I have never had any problems in the eight months I've been working with them. I would recommend them to any one.
I love Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union! I was first introduced to them through my Personal Finance class at JCC. The owner came in to speak to our class personally about budgets and checking/savings accounts, as well as loans. It also happened that they were opening a branch on our campus. It had opened earlier that week though I had no idea it existed. I had never had a bank account before and was very impressed with man who came to speak to our class. I went over after my classes were finished for the day and opened up a free checking and savings account. I loved it! I was able to run over to the branch on campus between classes if I knew I would need cash for later or if I had an issue or a question. The staff is amazingly helpful and caring. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a credit union!
Greater Chautauqua Federal Credit Union has been my credit union for a few years now. I originally opened my accounts there because they had a branch in the building where I worked so I could pick up my paycheck, take a dozen steps, and cash it there. I kept banking with them because they were so friendly and helpful. When my husband and I opened our business account we went there first to see how they could help us out. Both our personal account and our business accounts are completely free. I've only had one issue with them in all the time I've used GCFCU and that was when I ordered my checks. They came with the wrong address on them, but GCFCU ordered me new ones right away and they came back perfect. When my husband's bank was sold and we didn't like the new company that took over we got him added to my account at GCFCU and he was able to close his other bank accounts. I'm so happy with the level of service I always receive when I go in to my favorite branch. I recommend them all the time.
