I took out a personal loan due to some financial difficulties at E-Central Credit Union a few years ago. I was a bit embarrassed to ask for a loan, but the bank workers were very comforting when I went inside to apply. I was approved with little hassle, and there was flexible payment options. I have finally paid the loan back and am totally satisfied with my experience here. I recommend to all of my local friends and family members to bank here because they are amazing people. I had no problems whatsoever, and I doubt that I would have any issue resolving them even if I did. Customer service was always courteous and knowledgeable. Overall I will likely be back in the future.
I have used Farmers for my car insurance for about one full year. Overall I am impressed by the service. However, I have not had any accidents or incidents to experience how Farmers will handle the situation. I do notice that I pay a fairly hefty premium at farmers compared to other more budget friendly insurance providers. That does bother me a bit. In the future I will have to decide if it is really worth paying more just to be insured by Farmers. Overall a good provider that I would recommend. But there are much more inexpensive providers out there. Overall I am satisfied with the service that I pay for.
I was a customer coming to U. S. Bank from my prior Downey Savings account. When it became U. S. Bank, I instantly noticed that customer service turned to awful. I had some fraudulent charges show up on my account so I had to contact them immediately. I went through several different representatives before I could find one that helped solve the problem. They also started charging me for checking and savings. Without even asking me, they would deduct the cost each month from my account. One time, that brought me into a negative balance which was associated with fees. I also had an issue with a Payday Loan Advance I took out with another company. This company turned out to be a fraud. I told U. S. Bank that I needed them to block the debits coming from the fraudulent company. U. S. Bank informed me that there was nothing they could do. This is ridiculous! Someone is stealing money from my account fraudulently that I did not authorize and U. S. Bank can do nothing about it. I closed that account in a heartbeat and switched to a new bank. I would never recommend U. S. Bank. They are complete garbage.
I have been a customer with Progressive Auto Insurance for over 5 years. Over that time period I have been very satisfied with the service. I have only had to file one single claim, and Progressive was very helpful to resolve the accident for both parties. I find my insurance rates to be fair, not the lowest but definitely lower than most other companies. I honestly have never had any sort of problem with using Progressive as my insurance provider. My premium is paid automatically through my bank so I never have to worry about when the bill is due. I would definitely recommend this company based on my overall experiences over the past 5 years with them. Every time my policy is due for a renewal, I always stay with Progressive (unless they give me a reason to move on). So far so good though.
I have banked at Edwards Federal Credit Union for more than the last year. Going to a credit union was a big step for me after banking with national banks for the majority of my life. But I have to say that I never regret it. Overall, I have had an excellent experience with my checking account. The staff is very friendly and helpful every time I step into the door. I have only had one or two issues in the past and they were resolved quickly. The issues were not the fault of EFCU. I would recommend this credit union to anyone that is looking to change their banking from a larger bank account. For my checking needs, it has served its purpose well. I love banking at EFCU, and so does the large majority of my family too.
I have been banking with All Valley Federal Credit Union for 3 years. During my time here, I have been very pleased overall. I was coming from another national branch big name bank, and decided to switch my checking account due to increased costs from the opposing bank. I have never had any major issue with my account at AVFCU. The only time I encountered any hiccup was when I was traveling out of state and they placed a red flag on my account. A simple phone call from my cell phone was all it took for my account to be back to normal. Every time I visit the branch I feel welcomed, and have never had any problems with any of the bankers in person. All in all I definitely recommend AVFCU to anyone that is looking for a good local bank. I can only speak for checking accounts because that is what I have personally used.
