I have very recently switched to State Farm Insurance, because the rate that they offered me is about $35 less per month than my prior insurance company. So far, I am thoroughly satisfied with the level of customer service that I have received. I am very pleased up to this point with my decision to switch to State Farm, after all a lower rate and great quality customer service cannot be beat. Especially with the economy as it is and the cost of living being so outrageous at this time. Also, the promptness and courteousness of the staff at my particular agent's office, is of the highest quality.
Chase bought out Washington Mutual, that I had an online checking account with at the time. Once my account converted to a Chase checking, I got to enjoy the great features of no monthly fees and absolutely free checks. The only downfall that I had was that at that time there were no nearby branches, so the ATM fees were $4 at least ($2 to Chase & $2 to the ATM owner.) I usually chose to get cash back, but there were a few times, when I had to use an ATM not affiliated with Chase. Ultimately the lack of a local branch led me to switch to a local bank, but I cannot say that I was unsatisfied overall with my experience while banking with Chase.
I switched from GEICO which was way too expensive, to Kentucky Farm Bureau, which is much more affordable. I have always had great service, and I am extremely satisfied up to this point with my car insurance. The cost is much more affordable as I said earlier, my policy, with better coverage, is about one-third the cost that GEICO was going to charge me, so I could not be happier with that aspect of my policy. Also, at my local office, I have always dealt with Paula and she is always kind and courteous. She truly is an asset to Farm Bureau. I also appreciate the fact that I talk to a person when I call the office for any inquiries that I may have, instead of having to deal with an automated system.
Although the overall customer service experience can be improved at the branch banks, I am satisfied with my choice to bank with First National Bank of Grayson. The tellers could use some direction as far as having a positive attitude toward all customers at all times. No matter how they personally perceive or feel about their customer, they should maintain a certain level of professionalism at all times. Concerning the accounts and products and fees that are offered at First National Bank of Grayson, I have to say they are more than fair, in comparison to some of the larger chains.
