Have had National Indemnity for awhile now and have never had to use them till recently. We had an incident on our property where some damage was caused by a car to our fence outside. Called up National Indemnity and within a day I had a guy out here to give me an estimate. They got back to me quickly after that and setup the follow up appointment for the fix. Took about 2 weeks after the estimate to get the guys out there but there work was top notch and National Indemnity was easy to work with throughout the whole process. Home Insurance is one of those things you hope you never really have to use but it’s so nice to have when you do need it. National Indemnity did not let me down and I highly recommend them.
I had my first ever checking account with this bank. They were only available at the grocery store nearby and I figured it would be easy to kill two birds with one stone by having them in the same place. Well, that should've been a warning sign for me that they only had branches in grocery stores. I was very inexperienced obviously and I probably should've gone in a different direction “bankwise”. The customer service was always subpar. The staff always looked like they wanted to be somewhere else and they were so slow at getting anything done. Lines always seemed abnormally long. They never really made any mistakes with my account and the one time I had a charge back issue they did help. But overall I'd say this bank is just average and to be sure to look around before committing here.
Having been a graduate from Niles Township Schools myself, I felt it natural to call on them when I went looking for a credit union. In the past I had always used big banks for my personal finance needs but was told by someone dear to me to check out a credit union instead. Niles Township Credit Union has not disappointed me. They have been fantastic in fact right from the get go. Prompt and courteous service with a lot of attention to detail. They made the whole visit basically painless. I was approved for my loan and was in and out of there rather quickly. If you're looking for an alternative to big banking in Chicago land area look no further. Highly recommended!
I had an up and down experience with this bank. I initially started with a checking account here and everything was peachy. Great customer service and lots of branches nearby for easy access. My problems began when I took out a personal loan. The application process for some reason was drawn out and they made me feel less than good about myself even though my credit history was flawless. I was finally approved for the loan and thought the worst was over. I was definitely wrong about that. When the recession kicked in a couple years ago they decided to hike up my rates. After numerous irate calls from me to customer service my quandary was finally settled. But this took a ton of effort on my part and was completely unnecessary. I eventually paid off this loan and took my business elsewhere. If you’re looking for a checking account or similar service they might work out for you but personally I cannot recommend this bank.
Myers Briggs had the unfortunate pleasure of having to deal with us after a home invasion in which we had lost quite a bit monetarily. Lucky for us though that they were top notch throughout the entire process. The morning after the burglary they were already taking action and letting us know exactly what steps needed to be taken in order to recover our losses. This was no easy task but they provided their expertise and knowledge every step of the way and we are indebted to them. We ended up recovering almost every cent of our losses and we couldn't have done it without their help. Don't walk but run to them to get coverage. Highly recommended!
My son went away to school in Connecticut and our current bank did not have a branch over there. We asked some of the other parents there what the best option was and they told us to check out Waterbury Teachers Credit Union. Having never dealt with a credit union before I was a bit apprehensive but those doubts were put to rest almost as soon as we walked through the door. Very friendly staff that went out of their way to make us and our son feel comfortable with the transition. Since then we've had really no problems at all dealing with them and they've always serviced us well. If your nervous about moving away from the big banks fret not cause this place is fantastic.
Recently moved to Louisiana and I was searching out a new credit union. Asked around the neighborhood and I kept getting the same answer - go to E Federal. I get intimidated easily when it comes to financial institutions. E Federal made it easy for me to feel comfortable. Unlike big banks a small credit union like this has a more relaxed atmosphere and the people generally seemed to care about helping me out. I didn't feel like another cog in the big wheel so to speak. The customer service in my short time using them has been flawless and the application process for my loan went through without a hiccup. For anyone looking for personal attention or just an overall better financial matters experience I highly recommend switching over to E Federal.
I recently switched all my business accounts over to Bank of America from LaSalle bank, because of convenience of locations in my area. As of now I'm regretting that decision. I've had numerous problems with the service since the changeover. My accounts fluctuate on a daily basis because of the nature of business and I'm supposed to get a warning when the account is low on funds. Several times I haven't received the warning till after the account is overdrawn already. This leads to fees upon fees that compound on top of each other. I pay for this warning service and their customer service has been spotty when it comes to helping me recoup my fees. Obviously this leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth and I will most likely be changing banks as soon as I can.
I Just recently switched to Hunt Insurance from a big name provider. The difference has been quite large. We recently had someone hit and run their car into the yard of our house and caused some major damage. Hunt Insurance was very prompt in sending over someone to get an estimate. They were very sympathetic, warm and genuinely seemed to care about getting this taken care of for us in a timely matter. Within a couple days the required work needed to the house and yard was finished. What more could one ask for from their insurance provider. Highly recommend Hunt Insurance if you’re tired of the runaround from your big name providers.
My son just recently reached the age of driving consent. This meant I needed to find a great place to get a car loan. I asked around the office where I work and the general consensus was that a credit union would give me a better deal than a corporate national bank. So I did some more research and Franklin Trust came highly recommended. Well they did not disappoint. We received fantastic service and a great loan package. Definitely trumped any other car loan experience I've had in the past. They were friendly, informative and reasonable. They gave me several options and we're not pushy like some banks tend to be. I really highly recommend anyone looking for a credit union to check out Franklin Trust.
I have been with First Castle for a little over a year now. I have had nothing but great experiences with them so far. I was attracted to them initially because they offered a $50 bonus for opening an account. The customer service was beyond what I had experienced in the past. During the sign-up process they were sure to go through every detail that I was unsure of and that was a lot since I'm pretty new to the whole process. They made the whole situation rather painless in the end. Since then every time I've gone in I've been treated very well and the service has been above my expectations. Very highly recommended!
I initially opened a free checking account because of a promotion Chase had running and cause of the convenience of the location with respect to my house. Big mistake on my part. I had nothing but trouble with Chase. The customer service inside my branch was just awful. For some reason they wouldn't ever let me just go to the teller and get out of there. I always had to sit down with a banker and confirm different information about myself. Very annoying! Then they got rid of free checking like most banks but of course Chase's fees were higher than most and there was no loyalty to existing customers who signed up specifically for the free checking. It doesn't end there unfortunately. They always seemed to find a way to get another fee tacked somewhere for any service. I'm now with a different bank and I couldn't be happier. Stay away from Chase if you have any choice in the matter.
Recently my car was involved in a hit and run while it was parked outside my house. I couldn't ask for better service than I received from Illinois Insurance Center. They were attentive to my needs and very helpful every step of the way. I didn't feel like I was just a number to them and they made it a priority to get this taken care of as soon as possible. Overall they made this terrible incident as painless a process as one could ask for and that's all one could expect in such dire circumstances. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top notch insurance provider.
I used American Eagle recently for a car loan and I have to say it was an overall great experience. I was apprehensive at first cause of my lack of credit history but it was recommended to me by a couple of friends on the basis that they offered the best customer service and rates around. I was able to secure a great rate despite my lack of credit history. They were helpful and courteous throughout most of the process and answered all my nagging questions. If you're looking for top notch service and rates look no further then American Eagle.
