I had my mortgage through PNC Bank for about 3 years or so. Overall, I thought they were ok to deal with. The customer service was pretty good the few times that I had to give them a call. The only complaint that I have is after I bought my house, I did a bunch of upgrades to it and increased the value a lot. I called them to ask if I could get an appraisal done on the house to see how much equity I had in it with the increase in value and then I wouldn’t have to pay PMI insurance. They wouldn’t let me do it and I had to just wait until I paid down the balance. So, I went and refinanced with a different bank, got an interest rate a lot lower, and don’t have to pay PMI insurance anymore. One little request from me that they declined made them lose my business.
I have been a member of SharePoint Credit Union of about 5 years now and have been satisfied with their business. The customer service there is always great. The starf is always friendly and always there for any needs that I have or are able to answer any questions that come up. I have a checking and savings account with them and like that I can just do all my online banking right on their website, it is very convenient. I have also had a couple loans with them and the loan process is very easy and straight forward. They have been able to approve me for each loan that I have needed.
I had Liberty Mutual Insurance for quite a few years. I only had auto insurance through them and was pretty satisfied. It was very easy to sign up with them and get the plan I wanted. I was able to get a quote right on their website and then purchase the plan right there too. I really it like when you can do it right on the website so you don’t have to talk to someone and have them try to talk you into other policies. I have not had to make any claims with them, so I don’t have any experience with having to make a claim. The couple times I've needed to talk to customer service they were always helpful and pleasant.
I have been a member of Wings Financial Credit Union for probably 5 or 6 years now. I have been pleased when dealing with this bank so far. I have a checking and a savings account, and I have taken out an auto loan and a couple personal loans. The application process is very easy and straightforward, and the customer service is always great. They have always been helpful when I needed something or have had a question about something. Any problems that I have, they are always there to help me and take care of it in any way they can. Their rates are very competitive so that is always a plus too! Overall, I am very happy with the service they provide for me!
I was a member of Star Choice Credit Union for a couple of years. I used a number of different services there. I had a checking and savings account, and I took out a few different types of loans. I really liked that you could just apply for loans online and not have to go in to fill out a loan application. It makes it very convenient if you're on a time crunch. When I went into the bank to finalize the loan, it was a very quick process. I went in and talked to one of the loan representatives and signed some papers and then I was out of there. The customer service was always very pleasant and helpful. Overall, I had a good experience with Star Choice Credit Union.
I have had Allied Insurance for a couple years now. The only type of insurance I have through them right now is auto insurance. So far I have been pleased with their service. The few times that I have had to call customer service, they have been very pleasant to talk to. The always answer all my questions and help me out with any problems that I have. I haven't needed to make any claims yet (and hopefully don't need to), so I'm not sure how they are with going through that process. I do like that you can go right on their website to pay your bill, or if I need to print out a new ID card, I can do it right on their website. Overall, I have been pleased with my service.
I have been a member of Beacon Bank for quite a few years now. I originally just opened a savings account to have a separate savings from my normal bank. After a while I decided to get a checking account too. Their customer service has always been excellent. They have always been pleasant and friendly when I go in to deposit money or take some out. Any time I have problems or questions, they are always there to answer them. I have also taken out a loan from them. The application process was very simple and I was in and out of the bank in very little time. So far I am very pleased with Beacon Bank.
I had State Farm Insurances for about ten years. I had both auto and home insurance with them. Luckily, I didn't have to make any major claims with either my vehicles or house, so I never had to deal with customer service for those things. I did have to call to make a couple changes when I got a new vehicle or if I needed to make a change. Each time I called, the customer service was very helpful and very pleasant to talk to. Over the years their rates were always pretty competitive with other companies, so I kept them as my insurance until I moved and then found a lower rate through a different company. Overall, I was happy with their service.
I have had a savings and a checking account, and loans through Spire Federal Credit Union over the last few years. I have not had any issues with my savings and checking accounts. It was very easy to open an account. Their customer service is always top notch. They are always very pleasant to talk to and helpful with all their customers’ needs. I've also got a couple of loans through them and it was very easy to stop in and talk to one of their loan managers and was out the door in no time with the loan I needed. Overall,I have no complaints with Spire Federal Credit Union.
I was a member of Financial One Credit Union for a couple years and basically just had a checking and savings account with them. Opening an account was very easy. It just took a quick trip to the bank. I usually never went into the branch because I was able to do all my banking online, which makes everything a lot easier and convenient. You’re able to get electronic statements, free bill pay, and there are no hidden fees or anything. It’s all straightforward. The few times that I did go to the bank, the customer service was always very good. They were always very kind and courteous. Overall my experience with Financial One Credit Union was very good.
I have been with US Bank for quite a few years now. So far they have been a good bank to deal with. Opening an account was very easy and their online banking is very simple to use and is very handy. I have a checking and savings account with them. Their customer service is very good and helpful. I once noticed some purchases from my account that I did not make, so I called them and they took care of it and were very helpful. They replaced the fraudulent charges and I had the money back in my account the same day. Overall, I have been very pleased with US Bank.
I have had Esurance as my auto insurance for a couple years now. So far they have been a good insurance company to work with. I really liked the ease of picking out the insurance plan I was looking for. I was able to do everything right on their website from finding the plan I wanted, to asking customer service questions I had, and paying my bill. That's one of my favorite things, being able to do everything without needing to speak to anyone directly. I haven't needed to make any claims with them, and hopefully never will. Overall, I have no complaints about them.
When buying my first house I went and got my mortgage from US Federal Credit Union. I liked that I didn’t have to go into the branch to get approved for the loan. I was able to just fill out the application online and submit it there. Then within a day they gave me a call and let me know that I was approved and filled me in on what else needed to be done. When I did have to go into the branch to sign some of the papers, I was very pleased with the customer service. They were very pleasant and helpful. They were able to answer all the questions I had about the loan and loan process. Overall they were a good bank to do business with.
While attending college in Minneapolis, I had to take out some student loans from Affinity Plus Credit Union. The application process was very easy and straightforward. The customer service at the local branch that I went to was top notch. Everyone was very nice and helpful. They took care of all my needs and made getting my student loans very easy and hassle free. I also had a savings and checking account with them and I really liked I could take care of everything with their online banking. All in all, I have no complaints with the service at Affinity Plus Credit Union!
I was with Bank of America for a few years. Out of the many banks I have dealt with, they have been an ok bank to be a customer of. The customer service was usually pretty good and all the employees were very friendly. The one thing that I wasn't a fan of was that it seemed like they had a lot of fees for this and that. Even paying my bill a certain way, it seemed like they would get you with a fee. Although, Bank of America wasn’t my favorite bank, there are banks that are a lot worse than them! All in all they were ok to deal with.
I had Allstate home insurance for a few years. I decided to come over to Allstate for my home insurance because it seemed like my rates from the other company I was with, kept going up every year. Signing up was very easy and the customer service has always been good and very helpful. It is also nice that they will give discounts to you for having other types of insurance with them. I never had to make a claim with them so I can't say how the process of making a claim goes. Overall, having them as my home insurance provider was a good experience.
I was a member of Northern Communities Credit Union for a few years. The majority of the banking I did there was getting personal loans for when I was short on money and needed to take some out to pay for certain things. It was always easy to go in and get a personal loan. The application process was always easy and fast. One time I had the transmission go out on my truck, and I didn’t have the money to pay to get it fixed. So I went in to the bank and got a loan that same day, so I could get the truck fixed. Customer service is always good. I never had any problems with them.
I have had a savings account at United Educators Credit Union for quite a few years now. So far it has been a good experience. It was very easy to open an account. All I had to do was just fill out an application on their website, which didn't take much time at all. It is nice to have the convenience to do all that stuff right on their website. I use this savings account for saving money for Christmas every year, so I only go into the bank a few times a year. The customer service is always very friendly and helpful! So far, I have no complaints from this bank.
I had Geico for a few years and was pretty pleased with them. It is nice that you can take care of everything right on their website, from signing up to changing your coverage and paying your bill. I never had any accidents while with them, luckily, so I never really had to deal with any of that. The only thing I dealt with was that I needed to use the roadside assistance, which is very handy! One time I got a flat tire and called them, and they sent someone out to fix it. Then on another occasion, it was winter time and my car wouldn’t start so I called them up, and they sent someone to jump start it. It is definitely worth it to have the roadside assistance! Other than that I was very please with Geico.
I needed a car loan a while back and so I went to Northwood Credit Union. The application process was easy and didn't take very long. They approved me right away, and I filled out everything I needed too. I was in and out within an hour. The customer service was great. All my questions were answered and I walked out of there with no worries. Then when it came to paying off the car, I paid extra money on the loan every month, so I was able to pay it off before the 4 year period was up. It was nice that they didn’t charge me a fee for paying off the loan early. It's always a plus when there are no hidden fees!
I had a savings account at North Shore Bank of Commerce from the time I was a little kid until I was about 22 years old. I don't have any complaints of this bank. The employees there were always very friendly and helpful. I like that it's a local bank and not a big nationwide bank. Whenever I would go in, the employees would recognize me and talk to me like I was a friend and not just a customer. The only reason I closed my account, is because I ended up moving to Florida for a couple years and didn't feel the need to keep my account open. That's the only reason I ended up closing my account. Otherwise, I really enjoyed doing business with North Shore Bank of Commerce.
I have had Travelers Insurance for my Homeowners insurance for a little over three years now. It was my first home purchase, so it was a nerve racking time. I had to get insurance and I decided to get a quote from Travelers. I just went on to their website and filled in all my information and submitted it to get a quote. Their customer service was very quick to get back to me with a quote and they were very pleasant to talk to. They weren't pushy or trying to make sure they lock me in as a customer. They explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. They even explained all of the other insurance coverages they have besides just home insurance. I decided to go with them for my home insurance and haven't had a problem with them since.
A couple years ago, I was planning on doing some “updating” to my house. I was planning on going to my normal bank for a loan, but had heard from a friend that they had taken out a home equity loan from Proctor Federal Credit Union, and it was very easy. So I went in one day, and sat down with one of the customer service representatives. Let me tell you, they were very nice and had no problem explaining everything out. They answered my questions with ease and were very delighted the whole time. What was really nice is for the amount of money I needed, they didn’t even have to pull the title to my house or anything. It was just a few signatures, boom boom boom, and I was out the door money in hand. I was very pleased with the service they offered and the customer service was top notch!
I had a savings and checking account at Members Cooperative Credit Union for about 5-6 years. I decided to open an account there because I lived close and it was very convenient. Opening an account was very easy. I just went in, sat down and talked to one of their account managers, filled out an application and after barely any time I was set up with a checking and savings account. All of their employees are very helpful and pleasant to talk to. All of their savings and checking services are very convenient. They have free online banking and they have all the check images show up online. It is nice to keep track of all the checks I've written. They also have free bill pay, which is really handy! The only reason I ended up closing my accounts is because I moved 30 miles away, and didn’t want to drive that far whenever I needed to deposit money, otherwise, I would have kept them open.
I just got a loan for a used truck at the end of last year. So far, it was been a good experience with Wells Fargo. I bought the truck and did the financing through the dealership. It came back that I got the loan through Wells Fargo. I was very happy to get the loan, because most of the banks I talked to wouldn't give me a loan longer than 3 years, because the truck had just over 100k miles. About 2 weeks after I bought the truck, I got a call from them asking me to confirm that I bought the truck and all my info. I figured it was just a call to confirm everything, but then they started explaining all the ways I can pay for the loan every month. I was able to pay online, over the phone, or with a check through the mail. It's nice to have so many different options. The lady was very nice and was very helpful about explaining everything. She was able to answer all the questions I had with no problem. So far Wells Fargo has been great!
A few years back, I had American Family Insurance as my auto insurance. The customer service was always nice, and they were always willing to help you out and go the extra mile. During that time, I never had any accidents, except the one time I was putting my four wheeler in the bed of my truck, and I accidentally hit the back window and smashed it to pieces. I called the insurance company, and they were very pleasant and easy to deal with. By the next day(because I didn’t have time to get it replaced that day), I had an appointment set to get my window replaced for free. I just brought the truck in to the glass shop and they took care of everything else!
I had a car lease and at the end of the lease, I decided to buy the car out and I went to Duluth Teachers Credit Union for the loan. They were very helpful with the process of buying the leased car. There were some issues with the lease company and the bank took care of them for me. I didn't have to worry about a thing, which was very nice! Customer service was great! They are also always friendly when I go in. They also let me take out more money than I needed for the car, so I could pay off a few other things.
I have auto insurance through Progressive and I used to have boat insurance until I sold my boat. When I had boat insurance they had comparably good rates, and then once I sold my boat it was just a quick phone call to cancel, which was hassle free. I paid in full when I got the insurance, and they sent me a refund very fast for what I was owed. I have only had auto insurance through them for the past three months and so far have no complaints. It was easy to do the application online and purchase the policy.
I've been with this bank for about 15 years and they have been excellent. Over the years, I've had two car loans and a boat loan with them. They make it very easy to get a loan by either filling out an application online, or going right into the office and sitting down with a loan manager. They are very pleasant to work with and try everything they can to get you a loan of your preference. The only downside was that they wouldn’t give me an auto loan for a truck that had over 100k miles. Otherwise, it has been a great bank to do business with!
