I started banking with Chase in 2008 when I moved out of state and my regular bank was not local to my new state. I went in and got set up quickly and even to this day, I remember the gentleman who helped me was extremely kind, quick, and efficient. He made sure I understood how everything worked and got me set up with a temporary card that day! He even put a rush on my new debit card, since I really needed one immediately. I got the card two days later in the mail and was on my way! Every time I went in to cash a check or withdraw money, the employees were friendly and personable and thanked me for my business. I never had any issues with them, and even later opened up a credit card because I was so pleased with the experience.
I became a member of BECU last year, and so far I have had a wonderful experience. When I first applied and got a checking account, someone sat with me and explained everything very clearly. The process was really easy, and didn't take too long either. I went to withdraw money last week and one of the customer service employees sat with me and wanted to just find out how the experience was so far. It really seemed like she cared, and she gave me her card in case I had any questions, so I could personally contact her. They are also easy to get a hold of in the call center, and anytime I have had questions about charges or my balance they are resolved quickly!
I have had Progressive for almost a year now, and I have been pretty happy with them. I got into an accident last summer, and it was easy to get a hold of someone to start the claims process. The only issue I had was getting a hold of my specific claims person, and I sometimes did not receive a call back. Once I let a manager know, however, I was promptly assigned a new claims representative and things went smoothly from there. I don't even think my rates went up after the accident, which was awesome. I have to have a specific type of coverage for my job, and Progressive offers the cheapest rate around for it, so that's a HUGE plus in my book!
I have been with Bank of America since 2007. Any time there has been an issue, Bank of America was quick to respond and let me know the process to fix it. I have always felt like I could get the issue resolved on the first call, without needing to call back later. The representatives are always very friendly, and are able to answer my questions quickly. The only problem I have is getting through the phone system to speak to someone, but once I do, it's smooth sailing from there! If there was an easier way to get on the line with an actual person, it would be nice, but for the most part I always feel taken care of and valued.
