I've had the Chase Freedom Card for a long time now. I really like the cash back, and I even get gift cards sometimes. There's also no annual fee, and even though my credit isn't perfect, they still gave me a fairly low APR. It's one of the only cards I've held onto for years, and I'll definitely be keeping it for many more.
I've done my banking with First Financial for quite a few years now. While it's true there aren't many locations, the staff at the locations they do have is wonderful. I'm always waited on promptly, and if I have a problem, it's taken care of in no time. I've never had an issue getting to a location, or finding an ATM to get cash from. Some do charge a small fee, but if you ask, they will tell you where you can go to avoid the fees. Doing my banking here has always been extremely easy, which is why I've had the account for so long.
I've had the Best Buy Store Card for a few years now, and it's come in really handy on more than one occasion. My main computer broke on me once, and without this card, I would've been out of work for a while. Even though the interest rate isn't great, hanging onto this card for emergencies is a good idea.
The Tire Kingdom Store card is a pretty mediocre card in comparison to most other cards I've used. The best thing I saw was that it doesn't have an annual fee, which is something I look for in a card. It seems you can get approved without much of a hassle, which is good for people with not so great credit. The interest rate is pretty ridiculous though. I would never consider a card with a rate that high. There are also no rewards with this card. That's another thing I look for, and most good cards have them these days. It's an okay card for the purpose it serves, but there are much better cards with much lower interest rates.
I got this card about 5 years ago to rebuild my credit a little bit. Even though my credit rating wasn't that good, I still got a really good rate from them. Customer service is always very helpful when I need to speak to someone, which isn't often. I also like the rewards program a lot. I've redeemed my points many times over the years and gotten some really cool stuff. They've been very forgiving to me when I miss a payment. It's happened a few times, and they always try to help me out so I don't get stuck with excess fees. As long as you pay the majority of your bills on time, you should never have a problem with this card.
I was a customer of Provident before it was bought out by M and T. I was disappointed with this at first, as I'd been with them for years. However, M and T soon proved to me that I had nothing to worry about. Their customer service has been awesome. I had serious issues setting up an online account. Nothing I did worked. I finally called their customer service line expecting the worst. I got a very nice young man who actually took the time to help me. He stayed on the phone with me until he was sure I had the account setup and could log in to the system. I've been really happy with them overall. The tellers are always very friendly when I stop in, and I've never had any issues with my account. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great place to bank with.
