I opened an account with Bank of America in 2005. For the first couple of years, I LOVED Bank of America. Then, I started having trouble. I was charged fees for no reason. Twice they charged me overdraft fees when I had not been overdrawn. I called customer service and they were very rude to me. I had never had an experience like that with ANY company before. Once, I did get them to take the fee off but the other time they wouldn't even listen to me. Soon after the second time I canceled my account. I refuse to do business with a company that I don't feel I can fully trust. Overall, I could not recommend Bank of America. I only had a few problems in the 5 years I used Bank of America but it was enough to convince me that it's not the bank for me. The customer service is seriously lacking. I will never do business with this company again.
When I got my first car, 15 years ago, I used Nationwide for my insurance provider. I never had any problems with the company. The rates were very reasonable and Nationwide customer service was great. I did have to file a claim one time and the whole process was made easy and as painless as possible by the excellent customer service I received when I called the Customer Service Center. I, also, had to use my roadside assistance one time and was VERY disappointed with the fees associated with that. I expected that, because I paid for the roadside service, that when I actually needed it it would be free or at least extremely reduced. This was NOT the case. It was going to cost me $100 just to have someone change a tire for me!!!! Soon, after this case, I canceled the roadside assistance. Overall, I cannot complain about Nationwide but I would have SOME reservations about recommending them to my friends or family.
I have used Federal Employees Credit Union for 3 years now, I financed my car with them 3 years ago. The customer service is out of this world! The representative that I spoke with was great. She was very friendly, helpful, and knew exactly what I needed! I have financed cars with other banks previously and have had no problems but what makes FECU stand out to me is the customer service! The application process was easy and went smoothly. I was approved in a short period of time. The customer service representative went above and beyond for me. FECU is so great, in fact, that I am thinking of trying to refinance my house and use FECU. I can't wait to be able to do business with FECU again! I have and will continue to recommend FECU to my friends, family, and coworkers! Thank you, FECU, for being a great company to do business with!
I have been using Suntrust for 3 years now and I cannot see myself banking anywhere else...ever! When looking for a bank to finance my house my realtor suggested that I try Suntrust. I am SO thankful to her for that! My Loan Officer was wonderful! I the WHOLE application process via phone and email. The Loan Officer was always available to answer my questions. I even had his mobile number and he answered on weekends too! The whole process went VERY smoothly! I had such a wonderful experience with my home loan that since then I have opened a checking and savings account with Suntrust, as well! I have had the same fabulous experience with the people in my local branch as I did with my Loan Officer! I have recommended Suntrust to several friends, family members and coworkers since then!
I bought my home about 2 years ago. Liberty Mutual came highly recommended to me from my Loan Officer. I had never had homeowners insurance before and had no idea what the application process would be like. My agent was great! He answered all of my questions and helped me to get the best policy for me, my home, and my budget. Every single time I have called him he has either answered right away or called back within a very reasonable amount of time. I have not had to file any claims and hope I never have to but I know that in my time of need Liberty Mutual and my agent will be there for me and my family. I have and will continue to HIGHLY recommend Liberty Mutual to my friends, family, and coworkers. I, honestly, couldn't have asked for a better company to do business with!!
I opened my very first checking account at SECU in 1998! My mother was employed by the state of NC. I always had a wonderful experience with this credit union. I have had many accounts with this credit union over the years. I financed my first car with SECU. Also, I had my first checking account, my first savings account, and my first credit card with them. The employees were always VERY helpful, friendly, and on top of things. They were always glad to help with any problems (which were very few!) and happy to help me figure out what I needed and get a good deal for me. I would and have always gladly recommended them to my friends and family. This is one of very few companies I can say that I have done business with for over 15 years! Great job SECU!
We have had State Farm for over 3 years now and are completely satisfied! My husband had to file one claim and it went off without a hitch! We currently have 2 cars insured and our home. Our agent is always available to us, friendly, helpful, and courteous. We could not be happier with our choice of State Farm! We have even convinced a couple of our family members to switch over too! Our family members are also highly satisfied with this company. We also have several friends who are customers of State Farm. They, also, are very satisfied! The only complaint I have is that the rates seem to be a little higher than other companies from which I have requested quotes in the past. But, with the service we receive I have no real problems paying the high premiums. Overall, wonderful company!!
