Recently my mortgage was moved to Chase Bank and although I was skeptical at first it seems to be a good transition. I was previously with MetLife Home Loans and they had their advantages but the system in which I had to pay my bills left something to be desired. Now the transition had its hiccups, I could not sign up for bill pay through my checking account for some odd reason however after talking with customer service they were able to resolve this problem and the next day I was able to sign up. Ever since then things have been super easy. My notifications come on time. I can see everything through the website. There are no annoying separate windows that pop up when I need to pay a bill. The worst thing I hated about the met life system was the fact that sometimes it would forget my information and I would have to type in my routing and checking account number again. So far there have been no worries about this happening. I definitively like Chase. I may even get a checking account with them soon.
I have never ever had a problem with GEICO. I first had it in Illinois and it was a great service. Their customer service was great and I've only had to use it one time for a claim. They followed up promptly and set up a claims adjuster with me in a few days. They worked with me and told me my options and I was happy in the end with what I got and with what happened. I liked them so much that when I moved to California I decided to keep them. I love the fact they have roadside assistance and that I have the option to split my bill up as necessary. Also if you have a home you can sign up for home insurance and get a discount through them. Easy Peasy. And who doesn't like the commercials.
Right around the corner from where I live. I definitely like this place. I started getting fed up with the big bank system I was fed up with the fee after fee that my previous bank was starting to get used to giving me and friend suggested that I try a credit union. I was skeptical at first but I am able to access my money anywhere. I'm also supporting the community. Definitely happy I switched to here. I am in walking distance so I can get exercise. I can write checks get loans. Everything that a big bank has but without all the hassle and red tape. I haven't really explored all the things that you can do here but look forward to finding out what else I can use the credit union for.
What can I say about Citibank... I've had them for years and they haven't really disappointed me. They have great customer service and my checks are always deposited on time. Online banking is easily accessible from my phone, laptop or computer. I can always get access to my money day or night. I've always had a great experience. ATMs are even available at 711. How great is that? The only bad thing I would say are the charges that occur when you use a non Citibank ATM. they charge you at the ATM and then Citibank charges you another fee. I don't think this is right but my solution is to always use a Citibank ATM. other than that they have everything I need.
