I was referred to Amica at a home buying seminar. Amica is a great insurance company. The rates for home insurance do not increase as much as other insurance companies each year. My rate increases only $10-$20 per year. Amica's customer service is excellent. Amica keeps me well informed of my policy and any changes with the company. I have a reasonable $500 deductible. I have no plans to ever change insurance companies.
Fifth Third Bank is one of the best banks I have ever banked with. The bank branches are beautifully maintained, The customer service is excellent. All of the employees are extremely helpful and friendly. When my debit card was compromised, I was immediately contacted by the bank and a replacement card was sent immediately. My checking and savings accounts are totally free. I have not paid any fees since I opened my accounts two years ago. Fifth Third Bank offers low rate loans. I would definitely recommend Fifth Third Bank to my family and friends.
Wells Fargo Way2Save Checking Package is a great checking account. The Way2Save account helps me save money while the checking account helps me manage my money. Customer service reps are always friendly and helpful. I really enjoy the internet banking feature of this checking account as it allows me to monitor my account on a daily basis. Pending ACH transactions are made shown on internet banking prior to be debited from your account to give you time to make a deposit before being charged overdraft fees.
Headquartered in New York but with branches in Europe and Africa, the United Nations Federal Credit Union (UNFCU) is the premier financial institution for the staff members and families of the United Nations. UNFCU offers competition loan and savings accounts rates. The credit union truly caters to its membership by offering mortgages to international United Nations employees. UN staff members often retain their accounts even after leaving the United States to move back to their home countries. Although there seems to have been a decline in some of the services offered, UNFCU has still been able to retain its membership even during the Great Recession. UNFCU seems to be sound financially and its members continue to remain loyal to it. I will never close my UNFCU accounts.
