Phil Minnes is an exceptional insurance agent who always goes the extra mile for me. He has called me after months of no contact, numerous times, to offer me the same service but at a lower rate. Phil has saved me hundreds of dollars over the years and I am extremely grateful. It really is the small things that count though. Phil has never forgotten a birthday of mine and shows this by sending me a card each year. He also sends small gifts and tokens randomly that keep me reminded of how important I am as a customer to him. It is the things mentioned above why I don't even bother to look at quotes from other agencies. Even if the dollar amount is lower, it would not compare to the peace of mind that Phil Minnes provides for me and my family.
I have used American Family insurance for about 4 years now and could not be happier to have them as a home insurance provider. Fortunately, I have never had to use them to file a claim with, but I have had numerous questions in regard to my policies and they have always been more than helpful. The application process is super easy, I was walked through it every step of the way. I even had an agent contact me and explain that I was eligible for more coverage and it would actually save me some money! That's great customer service and for that, I will continue to be a loyal American Family Insurance customer.
I have had Liberty Mutual auto insurance for about 3 months now and I am still impressed with them. I began shopping for a new insurance company when my rates went up about 50 percent when it was time to renew with my old company. I got an online quote which was much lower and within hours, a local representative had called me back. It was great because she was friendly and had asked about and applied more discounts from my employer, credit union, etc. I am now receiving more coverage and paying about $40 less per month because of Liberty Mutual.
I have been banking with Chase since 2004 and could not be any happier. I started when they ran a free checking account promotion where they gave me $100 for opening the account. Since then I have opened up an additional savings account and gotten an auto loan through them. They do not tend to charge me lots of fees or require anything out of the ordinary. They keep their mistakes minimal and their customer service is top notch, correcting any errors or issues that I have had with them. I would certainly recommend checking out a CHASE bank if you are in the market for a new institution.
I began banking with Georgia Power Macon Federal Credit Union a couple years ago while I lived in Macon, GA. It was a short lived venture. It is a credit union for members of the Georgia Power industry and the credit union has two employees and offers no website. I began banking with them because of their no fee checking account, but I quickly left because the lack of diversity and options were too much to over come. I'd recommend looking for other options if you are exploring credit unions because there are plenty of better options available to you.
I had a previous checking account with American Federal Credit Union and have absolutely no complaints. I was a member of the credit union for about three years and never had an issue with them. I had made a payment two days late on one instance and the young lady I spoke with over the phone waived all fees for the late payment since it was my first offense. Things like that kept me loyal to them even when I had slightly better offers from competitors. Anyone looking for a home credit union, I recommend taking a look at American Federal. I have the utmost confidence in them.
I have been a member with Fort Knox Federal Credit Union for about a year now and am very impressed. They offered to refinance my auto loan at a 2.5% rate, which was much lower than anyone else had offered. Each month they continue to be consistent and there is never any trouble submitting payments or getting my questions answered. Each other the employees that work there are very kind and courteous. Occasionally, they offer a "Skip a Payment" program that allows customers to defer their payment for a month around summer or the holidays. Things like thing will keep me coming back to FKFCU for a long time.
