The Open Sky Secured Credit Card is a great card to apply for if you have bad credit and would like to increase it. You need a minimum of $200 to open the card, and will need to pay an annual fee of $29. This card would be great to make small purchases to immediately pay right off in order to build credit.
My card is the Capital One QuicksilverOne Cash Rewards Credit Card. I think this card is absolutely fantastic. I was a college student with absolutely no credit, and really needed to find a card that would help me establish my credit in order to be successful in the future. Well, my problems were solved when I stumbled upon this amazing card. I do pay an annual fee of $39, however, but there is no limit on the cash back that I can earn, and it has really helped me to build a decent credit score, which is what I wanted to accomplish in the first place.
As far as store credit cards are concerned, the Staples Store card is an excellent choice. There is no annual fee, which is always excellent. Also, there is a chance to get reward points, which is 5%. The interest rate is high, but if you are an individual that may have a need to buy office supplies quite frequently, then this card may be for you, especially since the card does offer rewards that could redeemed later for different items. I feel that it would be great for small business owners who are looking to save money. but still run a business.
I have seen better gas cards. I do not know why this card would even require excellent credit in the first place. I do like the personalized customer service. I think that is nice to have that option. The 21 day grace period is nice. Sometimes there are rough months, so it is nice to be able to have a little extra time to pay of the bill before it could hurt your credit score. If you truly do need a gas card, I would probably look into other options that might be a little bit better, and not have such a high interest rate.
The Capital One platinum credit card is an excellent credit card. I like that there is no fee for the first year. However, I do not like the $19 fee per month. I do feel that their are other cards that you could get that do not have a fee, but if you need to build your credit, then this card might be an option for you. I also like the security of text message alerts. I feel that that would really help regulate spending. I also like that there is $0 fraud liability in case something happens. There is a lot of fraud these days. so its nice to have that relief.
The Direct Express Prepaid card is absolutely excellent to use as a direct deposit option for work or for Social Security or Supplementary Income. The card is great because the only fee is a .9 ATM fee after the first use. Other than that, there are no cancellation or monthly fees to use the card, which is excellent! You can also use this card anywhere at any place that accepts MasterCard as well, which can be very helpful to anyone. I feel that this card is great for those that may not have a bank account, and it is a safe way to store away money.
I feel that the Carnival Credit Card really isn't going to be helpful to everyone. First of all, you have to have excellent to good credit in order to be approved, and even then, you need to be able to take a lot of cruises to even benefit from the "rewards" that the card supposedly offers. The reward points that you can earn are called "fun points" but they can only be redeemed on the cruise lines, so I feel like if you are not an avid cruise taker then it really isn't going to be extremely beneficial to you.
The Western Union Prepaid MasterCard is great for individuals with bad or no credit. There are no fees as long as you use your card. I feel that this is extremely helpful for those individuals that really are looking to build up their credit. It can be hard being approved for anything requiring credit if you have horrible credit, and I feel that the western Union Prepaid MasterCard could be extremely useful for those individuals. I feel that it is so much better than any other prepaid cards that are on the market, and I love that your money is protected if the card is lost or stolen.
The Blue Cash Preferred Card from American Express is an excellent card. The first strength in this card is that you get a $150 bonus for starting up the card, which is excellent. You will earn 150 in reward points in the first 3 months if you spend $1,000. The reward bonuses can be redeemed as a statement on the credit, which is also excellent. You get 6% back for supermarkets, 3% for gas stations and select department stores, and 1% for other purchases. All in all, this card is excellent if you like to get the best bang for your buck.
The AT&T credit card is an excellent credit card to own. I think it it is a great card to use to pay off your At&T bill each month, since it does not have an annual fee, you earn a point for every $1 spent, and you get an additional 10,000 bonus points for the first $500 you spend. I feel that this is a good option to use, especially since the points will add up if the card is used to the purpose of paying off the bill each month. The good thing about the points is that they can be redeemable for $100 gift cards.
I like that the TJX card offers 10% off of the first purchase that you make. I also like that you win 5 points for every $1 you spend at TJMaxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods. I also like that you earn $10 in rewards for every 1,000 points that you use. I also really do like the 23 day grace period that the card offers to pay payments. It really helps to motivate me to spend more money at stores in order to earn those reward dollars, which I could use anywhere. It is such a benefit to own and use.
I have been a member of Chase bank for five years now with a checking account. I really like the bank because it was very easy to set up an account. I only needed to deposit $20 to open the count. I do think that there is a downside because they do charge you a monthly fee if you don't have "enough" money that is deposited. I like the security feature. I am contacted if any fishy behavior is happening to my account, and have been reimbursed immediately whenever I had an individual steal money from my account. I would definitely give them a thumbs up.
If you frequently go to Sheetz gas stations, then the Sheetz Credit card would be beneficial for you. There is no annual fee on the card, so that is one of the benefits to this card, as well as able to earn 5 points for every $1 you spend inside Sheetz. You will also make 5 cents per gallon when you use your card at the pump, and 1 point for every $1 you spend. Another benefit to this card is that you will receive free gas, free food, and anything free in the Sheetz store. There is nothing but positives to this card, and it should definitely be considered.
