I really like this company they gave me a much better rate. I pay by the month and switched from nationwide to them and have the same coverage and I started paying 40$ less a month. Which is around 480 a year I save so that's a pretty good deal. They also offer awesome customer service. I had some questions when a deer plowed into the front end of my van and they were awesome covered the medical and vehicle repairs as well. They also have roadside assistance which I haven't had to use, thankfully, but it makes me feel better to have. I am really happy with them and will stay a customer. Oh and also it only took me 10 minutes of my time for the quote! Lol!
I recently opened a savings account with td to transfer my mortgage as we are unhappy with where we are now. I must say they are awesome in helping with the transfer and refinance. However the only problem I had that made me not give them five stars is they are not clear in their paperwork and contracts. The wording seems to go on and on and talk in circles so I had to have someone sit down with me and go over every bit of it which was very time consuming. Other than that they are the nicest people they remember our names and they remember my kids and they even give me a dog treat to take for my dog. Their rates are great and they are very understanding of every need one could have financially. They are a bank with the courteous gestures of a credit union.
I am rather pleased with this account I just opened it a few months ago after being a credit union only girl. But after accepting a job that requires me to travel, I needed a bank that is all over the place. There are atm fees for non bank atms so watch out. They tack them on even after the atm's other fees so if the atm charges Two dollars boa charges 2.50. Other than that the only problem I have with them is their lack of keeping up digitally. If you have funds deposited and funds pending they add it to the beginning balance, making it look like you have hundreds more than you really do. So WATCH OUT. Other than that they are pretty great as far as technical advances compared to a credit union. They also are pretty fairly priced that fee is waived as long as there is a min. Deposit every month. Overall they are a good national bank.
I have The Citi Diamond Preferred Card.It does have Concierge service which Is its only perk. It is what I call my emergency card. It is the card I keep in my wallet for that unplanned purchase I need to make. You never know what will come up with kids (especially boys). I chose this card over another when opening it because of the lower rate I was offered. I was offered the lowest 12% rate, however I read the fine print and the rates can be quite high if your credit is a bit blemished or you want a cash advance. But why not just charge the stuff you need to the card. Plus the cash advance rate is less than a payday loan so that's a plus either way you look at it. I have never needed to dispute an issue or anything like that but dealing with them initially was not a hassle nor what I felt to be a pushy process. They also don't up my line of credit or change anything without asking me first.
I love Kohl's and the Kohl's Credit card. I give the card a three stars only because the APR is so high AT 23.99%. I have had the card for about a year give or take now and I have to say it has really saved me quite a great deal of money! If you like to order on-line (which I do frequently) then you get FREE shipping. It doesn't give you any other special offers that are exclusive to you as a card holder. It does come in handy if there are those of you that forgot to save up this holiday season. Or if you're like me and did save up and got everyone a gift except "Old Aunt Edna" and have to run out at the last minute and find something for her, then this card is excellent for that missing gift as well! Over all this is a card I enjoy having in my wallet.
I like the idea of the Wells Fargo Secured Credit Card and if you have bad credit then this is an option to help you improve your score. It is like the secured cards offered by other banks such as Bank of America Secured Credit Card or the US Bank Secured Credit Card. The interest rate is high and don't expect it to drop after proven on time payments.. Also read the fine print when you want to close out the card make sure you do it the right way and do lose your deposit. Also you should know that because the interest rate is so high that with 100 dollars sent on the card that is an extra 19 dollars and for a cash advance its an extra 24 dollars a month per hundred. So I suggest that this card be used for a few short years as an excellent credit building tool.
