I have been banking with Bank of the West for 35 years and love all the people at the local branch. They are always so nice and when I take my dogs with me to the drive up window they always give them each a dog biscuit. The biggest problem I have with them was I originally had a free checking account, which I am pretty sure was free checking for life. Well I got a letter saying they had stop offering that service and that they were upgrading me to a better account with more advantages but of course that meant it was no longer free. I really felt like they weren't being fair as I had had the other account for over 30 years. In the end no amount of my complaining did any good and I had to accept the fact that they weren't going to give me my free checking. I thought about changing banks but the people who work at the local branch made me want to stay even after the free checking was taken away.
BankAmericard Cash Reward Card is awesome. There isn't anything not to like about this credit card. You get $100 dollars back after spending just $500 dollars in the first 3 months. I love the 2% on groceries and 3% on gas, with prices of both climbing everyday this can add up to big savings. Another great thing about this credit card is Bank of America has branches everywhere so if you need to get cash from an ATM you can usually find one close to you. The other thing I love about this card is you don't have to register for any of the cash back features you just automatic get them.
The Chase Liquid Prepaid Card is easy to use and convenient to use, because I live really close to a Chase branch. I used to use the BuyRight Prepaid MasterCard, but didn't like it as much one of the main problems with the BuyRight card was the price per month. Chase Liquid is much cheaper. I also really like the no activation fee and no fee if I want to cancel it. If I had to say one thing I don't like it would have to be the fee for using a non-Chase ATM, because sometimes you can't find a Chase ATM. Other than that the card is handy and pretty cool to own.
My credit was pretty bad after my divorce and I couldn't get any credit card. I finally applied to Capital One and they helped me get this secured MasterCard. Rebuilding your credit can take awhile but the only way to get it done is to start and using the Capital One card helped me. I use the card to pay bills, for food and to buy gas. By using this card I built my credit up after two years and was able to get a regular Credit Card. I can't thank Capital One enough for having this card to help those of us who have some credit problems in the past but want to work to fix them. If you have had credit problems in the past and are ready to build a better credit history then give this card a try.
The very first credit card I ever owned was a Macy's. My parents helped set me up and gave me a credit limit that I could use to buy clothes at Macy's. I loved it I had the freedom to chose what I wanted and Macy's has excellent clothes. Macy's credit card was not only easy to use but the people who work there are so friendly and helpful. I had a problem once with something on my bill that I didn't buy. I called Macy's credit department and spoke them about it. They helped me right way by removing the item and were so nice about the mistake. Macy's is an excellent credit card to own, the store just has everything and so easy to use. I wish I still lived close enough to a Macy's to have a credit card with them again.
