Country Financial insurance has been the best company we have ever had. We have had several different auto insurance providers in the last 30 years. Some have been good and others have been horrible. That said I am always looking for a better deal. When I found Country insurance they were not only significantly less expensive. (Even with teenage sons driving) They have proven to have the best customer service we have ever had with an insurance carrier. Our agent is prompt and courteous and always looking for what is best for us, not what is best for him. The general customer service is good as well. I have and I will continue to recommend Country to my friends and family.
We like this card fairly well, but it does have pretty high interest. But it has served us well when we have had an emergency or need for last minute spending. I don't get all into points and rewards, so not sure what to say about this or if this card even has them.
I am ok with this card, but have had a few issues with some of the customer service options. Online is fine. But over the phone is challenging. A couple of times I have had to call about billing issues, or (what I thought were incorrect charges) They were somewhat helpful and I did figure out the issue, but had to wait a long time and work very hard to explain the problem. In their defense this was a couple of years ago and have not had to deal with them recently. Otherwise the card is reasonable and useful when I need it.
We have had a checking account with key bank for the past 11 years. Most of the time it is fine, but we have occasionally had issues with mistakes made by the bank. They are usually quick to correct when I call them on it. However one time, the phone operators could not see the issue, I had to go into the bank and speak with several representatives before one took the time to carefully review my statement with me and finally saw where a check was withdrawn twice. She did correct the issue and we did not close our account, however we did consider it. I would recommend that anyone who uses key bank, monitor their account closely, if they do they will be fine.
My husband has been banking with the South Coast ILWU credit union since he was a young teenager. This was over 40 years ago. We have been married for 31 years, and we have not had one negative experience with them. We do not leave in the Coos Bay area, so it can be a little bit of a hassle mailing, faxing and emailing loan applications back and forth, but Cindy makes it extremely easy and is very accommodating. All of the employees are professional and helpful. Cindy has assisted with several vehicle loans over the many years we have been doing business and have always given us honest advise and competitive rates.
