Wells Fargo has a great savings account program. Everything is spelt out for you very early on, and their accounts can help you meet your short and long-term goals easily without a fuss. I highly recommend using this service due to the excellent customer service I received, and the knowledge that I was given to make my own decisions. This isn’t a place where they just expect to listen to you ‘just because,’ instead they take the opportunity to explain to you WHY. 5 stars.
The Walmart business store card is inherently a good card to have if you run a business where you need to buy a vast amount of common items at one location. Obviously if you need specific tools or hardware you will need to belong to more of a specialty store’s card program as well- but the selling point for Walmart is one stop shopping. The card itself has a max late fee of only $29 which is not bad, and a 26 day grace period. However, the max penalty APR of 24.99% is very high and definitely where they are gauging you and making their money- so be aware.
I opened a chase premier checking account because of a very bad experience with another bank. It was easy to open and everyone worked with me to even help settle the problems I was having with the previous institution. On top of it since I was a military veteran I was able to get a free upgrade to the “premier plus checking” without any extra monthly fee. It’s been a great experience so far at chase and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
This is an absolutely great company to do business with. They are based locally for me and I heard about them from my family and friends that also had policies with this institution. You may pay a little more than you would for some of the popular national places, but the amount you get in return is well worth the few extra bucks a year. I’ve dealt with them having an accident and they responded quickly and friendly without having to cut through red tape or fight with an adjuster. Highly recommended.
The chase slate card is one of the most favorite credit cards I have ever owned. If you have any credit card balance you are trying to pay off you should use this card! Contact them, see if you qualify, and they will transfer a remaining balance from another card to them and give you over a year of interest free APR. I paid off an entire card's debt and saved thousands by using this card. Very highly recommended. The best card experience so far I've had.
I have nationwide insurance, and after having an accident I immediately called them to help me resolve the issue. Not only were they prompt, easy to deal with, and helped me through all the issues- they did so with class and ease. For once it felt like the company was HELPING me instead of trying to hold me back from making process with my claim. In a world where it seems insurance companies try to do everything they can to NOT help or pay you when it comes time, Nationwide was the complete opposite! Highly Recommended!
Guaranty Bank is a decent place in which to have a checking out. They don’t do anything exceptional, but they also have never caused me to have any major issues with my account. They have automated payments allowed, fast deposit clearing, and a great online checking option where you can see all your account activity at the press of a button. My local branch in Franklin, WI has had a lot of turnover when it comes to tellers which sometimes can cause the employees to seem confused, and I have experienced considerable wait times. The wait times could also be attributed to the fact it’s located in a local Pick N Save.
The amazon card is a decent card to have. It doesn't do anything exceptionally well, but the 0% APR introductory pricing is nice. You will have quite a jump when it goes to over 25% after the initial period. This is the kind of card that if you use it you want to be paying off 100% of your balance after your introductory rate is completed. If you use Amazon’s services a lot I highly recommend it, if you are more of a casual buyer you would probably be better off to find a different card that can offer a lower APR.
