This credit union is located in my hometown and has been great to do business with for the most part. They generally provide great customer service. I moved out of state a couple years ago, and they have always tried to help me resolve any issues that I have despite not being a local bank. The main complaint that I have had is that at times problem resolution can take longer than I feel is acceptable and I had an issue that they could not help me resolve remotely. I am supposed to be able to deposit my checks at any local credit union despite being out of state, and this process takes a bit more time than I would like, but overall I feel that Tewksbury Federal Credit Union has handled any other problems that I've encountered well. They offer a competitive rate on my savings account and I appreciate the fact that my checking account doesn't require a minimum balance and there are zero fees. I would recommend this credit union to anyone in the local area who is looking for friendly, professional service.
I waited a long time building up my credit to be able to qualify to receive an offer for this card. I am so glad that I did. Discover has been nothing short of wonderful to work with, I truly did not expect the level of service that I have received with this card. This card offers an impressive amount of benefits as well. There is a standard 5% cash back, no annual fee, and they have great balance transfer offers. This is the first card that I have seen offer a balance transfer with no transfer fees. I realize the interest rate on this card may not be competitive for everyone when compared to other cards, but for me, it is the best rate that I have out of all my cards. I have saved hundreds of dollars by taking advantage of balance transfer offers on this card. This is one card I hope to continue carrying for a long time.
The Chase Sapphire Card is an amazing credit card. It comes with an excellent rewards program, bonus points during the first month of use, and no annual fees. Chase always provides great customer service; any issues or questions I have had have been handled quickly, professionally, and completely. I think the starting APR is a bit high compared to similar cards by other creditors, but the other benefits make up for that. As long as you pay your bill on time you can keep the rate reasonable. If you're interested in a rewards card, definitely consider the Chase Sapphire Card. I know you'll be glad you did!
I have had MAPFRE Insurance for about 8 years, when I started with them they were called Commerce Insurance. I have stayed with them for so long because they have always satisfied all of my needs as a customer. They have always offered me competitive rates and I have always gotten incredible customer service whenever I call in to them. I've filed 3 claims and everything was always handled very quickly and professionally. They handled everything for me and coordinated all appraisals and payments with my repair shop so I never had to make any additional calls or worry about chasing anything down. I've had to call customer service on other occasions to see about adding additional coverage and I've always had a great experience with MAPFRE. In addition to the already great pricing I get from MAPFRE, I also receive a discount based on how many years I've been with the company. It's nice to see a loyalty discount for a change because so many companies seem to forget that loyal customers deserve some special treatment too! All in all, I am proud to be a customer of MAPFRE and don't plan on switching.
Although I think that this card is a great option for people who may want to purchase their products from Apple directly, it does not offer much advantage for any other purchases. The advertised no interest benefits are only available for products purchased directly from Apple and unless you are upgrading your electronics multiple times per year, you would probably be better off getting a different rewards card and using that for your purchases. This card is comparative to the Best Buy Credit Card, as the Best Buy card can be used for electronic purchases (including Apple products) and also offers no interest options. The Best Buy card offers 5% cash back on all purchases which Apple's card does not. Finally, the interest rate on the Apple Credit Card is a high 22.99%. There are definitely better options.
The Hyatt Credit Card is a good card for someone who spends a good amount of time traveling and frequently stays at Hyatt Hotel properties and seems to be a good entry level hotel rewards credit card for people who are looking to maximize their rewards potential. Compared to the Hilton HHonors Credit Card, the Hyatt card offers rewards at a lower buy in requiring only $1,000.00 in purchases over the first 3 months vs. the $2,500.00 requirement for the Hilton HHonors card. The annual fee for the Hyatt card is only $75.00 compared to the $95.00 for the Hilton HHonors card. Overall, I would say this is a great card for people who frequently stay in Hyatt properties, but may not offer as much reward to those who don't.
The JetBlue Credit Card from American Express is a great card for frequent travelers, especially those who, like myself, prefer to fly on JetBlue. You receive 6 points for each dollar you spend when booking directly on JetBlue.com and 1 point for each $1 that you spend everywhere else. There are many opportunities to earn points in other ways, and if you use this card regularly, you can quickly rack up those reward flights. Compared to the Capital One Venture Rewards Card, the JetBlue Credit Card offers more rewards when signing up. You get twice as many reward points and the APRs are comparable, both around 15%. The one benefit that the Venture Rewards Card offers is the ability to redeem your rewards on any airline you choose. All in all though, the JetBlue Card offers a lot of great incentives for customers and I highly recommend it!
