This card is AMAZING!! I love how there are no interest rates on purchases or transfers for the first 15 months which is great because it gives you time to start paying things before the interest rates go sky high. Getting $100 back every time you spend $1000 or more in the first 3 months of having the card. When it came in the mail it was just so shiny and now I use this card everyday for small and big purchases. I actually bought a brand new sectional couch and brand new dining room table for my house not to long ago and I got $200 back because my purchase price was $2000+. I was super happy.
USAA is amazing!! Anytime you need to call them they are always there. I love this account because there are no monthly fees or withdraw fees unlike other banks. Its easy to transfer money into your savings account from another account, but it is difficult to deposit money into the account. Sometimes depositing money you have to find a bank or go to your nearest UPS store to have them deposit into their system to get to your bank. I would tell everyone that this account is great to have especially for military families.
I had this account all 4 years of my college life. I never knew that it was charging me monthly prices just to have the account open. After the 4th year I realized how much money they were taking out each year and I could of saved it. When i signed up for the checking account they never told me about charging monthly fees. The fact that I had to have $1500 just to not get charged monthly is crazy.
First let me say this card is amazing!! The cash advance fee is only 3% and there is no over-limit fee which is great. What also makes this card amazing there is no one time fee and their is no monthly fee. I had this card for about two years no and I love it. Have the annual fee at $35 is great because other companies charge a much high price for quality that is not that great.
This card is really good. I love the fact that is has no over-limit fee. Most Credit card companies like to charge more than $30 for an over-limit fee. The grace period is very long as well which give you time to pay your credit card off. The only thing i don't like there is no online response and the cash advance is a little high. I do extremely appreciate the low payments they have and you can use the card in over 4,500 locations nationwide. So no matter where I am I can use it.
I use to have the Way2Save Savings account from Wells Fargo. It is a convenient account, because it is free under a few conditions, but I decided to close it because they started to charge me fees that I didn't know I was going to get charged. When i signed up they didnt mention anything about fees being charged monthly until I would look on my account and see money missing. After a year with them i got fed up and closed my account.
I went from Bank of America to Justice Federal Credit Union. It was a great choice for me. I think the bank is very strict about opening accounts because some of there branches are in FBI offices etc., which makes complete sense. When calling in they do ask to verify a lot of information to make sure your the right person on the other end, which is great! By far the best bank.
The AAA Member Rewards Credit Card does have some perks and some downfalls as well. The perks to it is that you can earn 2 point per $1 for gas, grocery, and drug store purchases and 3 points per $ on all qualifying AAA and travel purchases. Another perk is that you can earn 1 point per $1 on purchases everywhere. Also there is no annual fee which makes it great too. The downfalls to the card are that after the 12 months your rate would be 12.99% - 22.99% that is extremely high.
The Hyatt Credit Card has some perks. I like how you can receive 2 free nights after spending $1,000 within the first 3 months. You can also earn 1 point for every $1 you spend. I like the fact that it has no annual fee for the first year and is only $75 after that. The only thing that I don’t like is the fact that the regular rate is 15.24% that is pretty high for a Credit Card. I believe if you know how to use a credit card and not go overboard then you would be ok with this card. If not then it is not for you at all. Even though it is a credit card it is mainly for hotels.
The American Express Gold Card seems like a good card. The thing I like about the card is that you can receive reward points and use them for gift cards for dining, entertainment, and to shop at over 300 different merchants. I also like how I can get discounts and some low rates on hotels and resorts. It’s great not to have any annual fees for the first year. The only thing I dislike is that if you have a late fee from zero to the greater 35 or 2.99% of the delinquent balance would be charged to your accounts. Other than that it seems like a great card to have.
I had my doubts about AAA insurance because I didn't know how they were, but I have never had an issue with them.. I got into an accident last year and they didn't raise my rates at all. Every other company would try to charge me higher rates, but they worked with me and even provided a rental car while my car was in the shop. The best thing I like about them is they compare their rates to other companies and even if their rates are higher they have more to offer. They also have good customer service. When you call they try their best to help you out with everything.
This card is great for being a college student. At first I was kind of nervous to use it since it was my first card, but the bank assured me that I should be fine. Right off the bat they gave me $700 credit that was available immediately and the card was shipped out right then and there. For the first few months I had no interest rate which was great and I had tons of cash back rewards.
I have been with Wescom Credit Union for about a year or two. I have had other bank that completely sucked such as Wells Fargo and Bank of America. They have everything such as getting your foreign currency before you want to go off to a trip or something. They have lower loan rates, higher savings yields, reduced fees. They are extremely nice when it comes to customer service. They give me 100% percent of their time with no problems. Another thing I loved about them is that they don't play around with my money and don't charge monthly fees.
Wawanesa has the absolute best rates of any company in the area, but they only insure excellent drivers, which is why I pay hundreds less than I would with any other company. They don't exist everywhere, and they are in the dark ages in terms of technology... but since good drivers don't really need to contact them or be contacted on a regular basis, it is no problem. When my car was hit on Easter and I called them for the claim on Monday they were nice and they were efficient. They said to get the inspection and put it in the shop of my choice and the check would be in the mail. I put my car in the shop for body repairs Wednesday, and by Friday the check was in my mailbox which covered the cost of damages by the idiot that "hit and ran" my car.
