I was referred to Mercury Auto through an insurance broker, otherwise I would have never heard of them. I had a decent driving record and owned my vehicle (so I didn't need full coverage) but I did have a DUI, and was looking for the cheapest car insurance possible. Mercury proved to be an excellent choice for my specific situation. The customer service was reasonable, and making payments & renewing my policy online was for the most part very easy.
I have been banking with Wells Fargo since early 2009 when the department of Education used them to fulfill my student loan. Since then, I've been able to house everything under 'one roof' so to speak. I have my savings, credit, and student loans all with WF, and it makes it easy to go online and complete any of my banking needs. I would recommend Wells Fargo to anyone looking for a new bank to use.
I was recently approved for a Walmart Store credit card, and have to admit that I'm a 100% satisfied customer! It really makes it convenient to have a card that I can use for the regular grocery trips that I do. In addition, I also was able to finance a few Christmas presents for my friends and family. I went into the store last week, and was told that the best place to shop for Walmart gifts is online, because they have over a million (MILLION!) products there, while the stores only carry a few hundred thousand items. The Walmart card makes it super easy to buy from the online store, and just have the items shipped to the store to pick up. The fact that you get access to your FICO score is another bonus, especially for those interested in rebuilding credit.
I really feel like the Kroger 123 Rewards card is good for people who do a lot of grocery shopping. By giving you the 3 - 1 rewards on Kroger items, and 2 - 1 rewards for buying in the Kroger Network (Its actually a pretty big group of stores... out here in CA I shop at Ralph's all the time) you can really maximize your money spent. The fact that they give you a $5.00 card for groceries for every 1,000 spent really solidifies this deal. Conversely I don't think that this card is one that you would want to use for other purchases, like for flights or dining out like the Citi Forward Card. Overall I'm satisfied with the Kroger 123 Rewards card, it provides exactly the benefits someone who shops for a family needs!
