My experience with Experian.com was a pleasant one. I was able to obtain my transunion and FICO credit score and reports. I have tried others that offer similar things but felt the interface and access to customer service was best at Experian. Would recommend to anyone looking for their credit report without any excess offers.
It is hard to beat the interest rate offered by PNC bank select checking. As a young college student paying rent, insurance, and electric I rarely have enough in there to get charged any interest. That type of free checking with the quality customer service and reputation of PNC is hard to match. The also allow to enter your money into a money market account or relative low risk investment accounts, which are excatly what I am looking for. I would definitely recommend to anyone in their early twenties.
I have had Geico home insurance for about four years now and have a few bumps in the road with them but overall would recommend them to a friend. I had an incident with a tenant who shared the house with me last year and the customer service I received while reporting the incident was great. The problem resolution however was not ideal, they took months to complete the whole process. I felt it could have been handled in almost half the time, but I did receive what I was asking for so I cannot complain.
This card really fits well for me, because I do most of my grocery/electronic shopping at Target already. So the extra thirty days to return and added discount to its already low prices are a great deal. It is one of the best experiences I've had with a store card, seems like it usually just means you get added to their spam list.
I like the reward system with this card, you can get a point for every dollar spent and there is no limit to the amount you can redeem. Its very similar to my capital one rewards card that offers frequent flyer miles for points earned. Plus the birthday bonus is an extra incentive to spend on your birthday! The only thing I would change is the rate, 24.99 is a little high for my liking.
I've had M&T bank's college checking account since my first day of college back in the day and have yet to find a better deal. With absolutely no monthly fee, opening fee, and free online bill pay it's second to none. Just make sure you never have an overdraft because you will get jammed with that fee every time. I would recommend this to anyone starting out their financial lives, but to a more experienced person I would get another type of checking account. If possible one with a good interest rate to get some return on your money.
I have had this account for around three years now, and it was my first savings account I ever set up. I really trust the Bank of America brand and even though the interest rate is not very high, I know my money is safe and ensured. I also receive very good customer service any time I need to access information about my account. I would definitely recommend to a friend.
I have been signed up with the Hanover Home Insurance select plus policy for almost five years now and have found that it is extremely reasonable. I had the unfortunate situation of having some personal injury costs accrue this past year, and they were great when handling the situation. Very personal and customer service oriented, and they helped out immensely with the lawsuit. I feel that the personal service is the most important characteristic of any insurance company and Hanover proved to have the best I've experienced.
I think the terms offered by the TJX credit card offer some very nice rewards and I love the fact that there is no max overlimit fee or penalty APR. I'm not a huge fan of the cash advance rate but it compares to my current capital one credit card. I suppose most cash advances have a high rate. I would definitely recommend this card to a friend who was looking for a new credit card.
