I've been a member of Chase for 8 years. Before that, I had always held my checking account in a small private bank in Milwaukee. When I moved to Chicago, I found it was really inconvenient to have a checking account with a bank that had branches only in select locations. Chase is everywhere. Their Chase Premier Plus Checking account has provided me with cost savings as I travel internationally; their branches are accessible and customer service always personable.
I had major damage done to my windshield and front fender. When I submitted my damages to my insurance company, they replied back with three emails and two phone calls within 24 hours. I had great follow thru on getting the damages assessed, paid for, and they even provided me with alternative forms of payment to help meet my deductible. My agent is prompt, courteous, and though their prices are higher, they offer a great service heads above other insurance companies.
This card looks appealing at first glance. I think the late fee is a bit higher than some other credit cards I have had in the past. The penalty APR is pretty steep. I'm also surprised to see that the base and max % rewards back is the same. One would like to have some benefit with retaining your credit line in good standing for several years. However, the 0% 12 month APR is awesome and really affords a user some incredible purchasing power. And with no annual fee, I think I'd be super happy to be holding this credit card in my hand right now. The Union Plus Credit card is on par with my American Express Gold credit card. And being on the Mastercard network, I think I'd get way more use out of this awesome Union Plus Credit Card.
Chase is great. They provide discounts and incentives for those in the military. My partner is a veteran so they linked our accounts together and I was able to benefit with some of the perks of their free checking accounts: overdraft fees waived, no transfer fees, and no charges for using ATMs outside of Chase. Plus Chase is everywhere. Great international service.
I love my Express Next Card. I'm constantly earning points on my purchases; I feel like I have $15 off I earn every visit. It's a nice looking card with great perks and an easy to use online website for payment and card management. The only thing I was is that the autopay feature was easy to setup. Otherwise, great card.
