i have bank with south jersey credit union since 2010 and i have had my wallet lost and credit cards stolen this past august 2015 and they where quick about replacing my visa cards as wells as any fraud charges reimburse .I also use there mobile app to transfer funds from my savings into my checking. I appreciate the face to face customer service resolving conflicts with my account, my direct deposit is always there two days ahead of my colleagues at my job for some reason ,i am always traveling outside the untied states and do rack up the foreign transaction fee but there is no monthly maintenance fees i rather bank with my sjfcu i feel my money is safe here.
I love my Nordstrom card it's one of the only department store cards I can call at any given time regarding my purchases and I won't get a frustrated customer service rep ,if I ask for my July statement and I'm currently in November I know I will receive it in the mail they are trustworthy and I feel comfortable being a Nordstrom card holder ,not to mention the free returns through the mail. I also like to receive the 20 notes in the mail spontaneously from purchases i have made online or in the store, another perk I enjoy being a card holder there in store presale events exclusively to card holders gives me an insight to the latest fashion handbags sunglasses cosmetics ect... They have a terrific In store lost and found service I have recently left my phone while cashing out and I checked with lost and found and there it was thankfully I don't think any other department store is as organize as Nordstrom great job you guys !
There is NO foreign transaction fees that's awesome why I gave it two stars is the zero liability protection the annual fee for having this card is ridiculous the rewards are adding up to the annual fee besides I don't make 250k annually so there is no need for me to possess this card but great for those who have it to go ahead and apply
I was banking with sovereign bank for 10 plus years not for the customer service but mainly for convenience of how close to my door step this bank was I would have direct deposit weekly and there was always long lines and terrible teller services and wait times if i asked a question regarding my account I was always told to refer to the 800 number on the back of my card so after the name change from sovereign to Santander and a new monthly maintenance fee I decide to switch my money from a bank to a credit union in hopes of saving bc that is initially why I opened my account this bank
