I did business with Estrella Insurance when I first got my car insurance on my own. I went with them because they offered the best price compared to the other insurance companies. Now that I have had my own insurance for a couple of years and have gotten older, my insurance quotes have gone down. Due to that, I had Estrella reevaluate my rate and they were not willing to compromise with me. This was really frustrating because I had to switch companies in order to save money. I felt as though they did not value my business. They were favorable a few years back but now, in my area at least, the rates have gone up way too much for this company. Overall, I rate their rates and service as okay.
What I like about the UPside Prepaid Debit Card is that it is a good option for those who have bad credit and do not have a lot of money to have a certain balance with bank accounts in order to avoid service charges a month. They do not charge an inactivity fee, which is good because some banks require that a certain amount of transactions a month in order to avoid fees. The things I do not like is that they charge $2 for calling live customer support, $0.99 for automated customer support, and $2 per check; I believe these services should be free if you are a customer. The monthly fee of $4.95 is understandable because most banks usually charge about $12 minimum as a monthly fee unless you have a certain minimum balance or you have two accounts with the same bank. Overall, this card is good.
I opened my checking account with Space Coast Credit Union about six years ago and I am happy with the service they offer. Their customer service is also excellent as well. Whenever I have had a question or issue, I simply call them and they clarify my confusions. I usually make my deposits inside the bank and the tellers are always nice and helpful. The only serious issue I had was when I considered using them for a car loan but I ended up going elsewhere, although they did not offer great rates.Other than that issue, everything is great with them.
I applied for the Chase Freedom card and I was approved for a very low APR after I would use it for the first year. They have excellent customer service and every time that I give them a call they are polite and go above and beyond to make sure that I am satisfied with the service. This credit card is excellent because I have a Chase checking account so payments are really easy for me to make. The no annual fee and rewards are excellent as well.
I have had this account for years and I have been fairly satisfied with their service. I did, however, travel to another country recently and that is where the issue began. I tried to make a few purchases in the other country but after the third purchase my card was denied. I appreciate the security and protection of the card, which is excellent, but I called them and explained that I am out of the country and that my purchases needed to be approved from then on. I tried to use it again and it was declined. It was a big inconvenience because it delayed my outing and I had to spend money calling internationally.
