I really enjoy using this credit card with Bank of America. I've tried using credit cards at other banks before and was met with so many underlying and hidden fees and problems--Bank of America never gives me those problems. I like using this card's reward system--pays out fast and is easy to use. Get a lot of rewards for just doing the things you would usually be doing/paying for. The interest rate is 0 for the first year, and then is about 11-22% for the years afterwards. I know it's a bit high, but it's worth it and a good rate in comparison to some other cards. Over all, I would recommend this card to others that are interested in setting up a credit account. One of my favorites.
SunTrust is one of those larger scale banks that gets overlooked in favor of more widely used/known competitors. Which is a real shame, considering their customer service and overall banking experience is by far the best. Employees are more than friendly; they remember your name and any stories you mentioned last time. There are no hidden fees, and everything about the banks is very personal, upfront, and homey feeling. Truly, this bank is better than Bank of America, or Wells Fargo-the two most popular banks currently. If you're frustrated at all the fees and poor customer service at your current bank-I suggest switching to SunTrust. You'll never trust another bank again.
I am not personally a fan of credit unions over mainstream banking corporations. There are pros to using such a service, but personally I've only had difficulties; especially with Apple Federal Credit Union. My worst experience with them would have to be a few years back. I had transferred a large sum of money into an account I opened with Apple Federal. After a week or so of keeping said money within their account, I attempt to withdraw a percentage. In doing so, I find that not only have I been denied my withdrawal but that my entire deposit is missing! I called the credit union, and spoke with a most unpleasant woman. The female representative was rude, information-less, and an overall displeasure to speak with, not to mention an extreme lack of help regarding my situation. After many e-mails with my branch's manager, and Apple Federal's headquarters, I was able to have my money returned to me--but not without serious effort and headache. My advice? Don't bother with this credit union-save yourself the hassle and go somewhere more reliable.
I have been a customer of Esurance for over 3 years now. I'm not very insurance savvy, but Esurance has been more than supportive and explanatory as to how my coverage works. I am never at a loss as to what I'm paying for, or receiving in terms of services, when it comes to using this company. To my friends and family, I cannot rave about Esurance enough! Great customer service with lovely phone operators, fast and easy resolutions to all situations regarding my vehicle; truly I would be at a loss without Esurance! If you're having problems with your current insurance company, this is the company to switch to! Hope this review helps!
I've had a few ups and downs when using the Wells Fargo Platinum Credit Card. At the beginning it was amazing, seeing how I had a high credit limit and no interest fees for 6 months. But after the "honeymoon" so to speak, it became a bit of a battle. Purchases would take weeks to post to my card, and thus I never knew exactly how much credit I had left at any given time. Guessing would cause me to overdraft occasionally which was very frustrating. These days I've been able to use my card with few problems, but I never know when they will pop up again and cause my credit score to suffer. Hopefully this is just a personal issue, and not something many people deal with on the regular, but I figured it'd be good to share my opinion just in case it has happen to others.
