I have had the Wells Fargo PMA Premier Checking Account for several years. There are pros and cons to any checking account, but I have been reasonably satisfied. Having PMA status serves well when contacting Wells Fargo for other services, and grants the customer a certain degree of leeway. Having said that, the monthly fee can be very steep if you do not have the minimum balance to avoid it. After opening a business, I've found it very difficult to get back up to the minimum balance, and I've been paying the fee for some time now.
The Hyatt Credit Card is a wonderful deal for the traveler. Hotel nights stack up with normal spending, and for those who use Hyatt on business trips, the extra points can be considered "freebies". Many other hotel chain rewards cards, like Marriott Card do not offer as many points per dollar spent. This card also has a pretty good APR in comparison with most these days.
I like the fact that the Wells Fargo Secured Credit Card requires collateral to establish a credit limit. I think this promotes good credit-building skills and responsibility. When I was young I had an unsecured credit card through Capital One, and the "something for nothing" model promoted too much extra spending. I like the idea of sacrifice in exchange for credit.
I love using my Barclaycard World MasterCard for ALL of my expenses. The points add up extremely fast, and I can use my points to credit previous travel expenses. When you do that, you get 10% of your miles back, which is a no-brainer if you have any travel expenses at all.
