Recently I just opened a new checking account with CitiBank. I am very happy with it for a number of reasons. I was able to set it up online and the best part was I did not have to make an initial deposit. The customer support through the process was phenomenal and I would highly recommend Citi to anyone!
This credit card would be a good idea to sign up for if you have a bit of an upscale taste. I love the fact that you get a fifteen percent discount for the entire day when you first use your card! One major drawback of this credit card is the rewards system does not does not use points. Instead they offer card holders periodic discounts. Compared to my other credit card rewards systems Lords & Taylor are lacking far behind and need to offer more rewards for its card holders.
I love this account with PNC! It is perfect for me right now for several reasons. The best feature is that you do not have to maintain a minimum balance. This is such a huge stress relief because as a student you are broke majority of the time and need to use all the money you have.
After owning this American Eagle Outfitters credit card for about two years I had enough and got rid of it! I rate this card a 3/5 stars for several reasons. It was frustrating dealing with their rewards system. I would make purchases, which qualify me for points, but would not have them credited to my account! This was extremely frustrating. Logging in to make online payments to the account was always a hassle. I would have to navigate through two separate sites just to get to my profile where I could pay with my card. The card company practically forces you to pay online because they charge a fee to pay over the phone. There was one positive thing about having the card, which was the 15% off when you sign up. Aside from this it was not much else positive I can say about having the AEO credit card.
This Chase Sapphire credit card takes rewards to another level! Every time you spend a dollar or more you earn points, and the best part is that they never expire. When I had a credit card through American Express I was always worried about using all of my points before they expire, but with Chase Sapphire my mind is at ease. There are so many different things you can use your points for, unlike American Express and other credit cards.
It is a great deal that Gap is offering 15% off a purchase when you get approved for this card! You can earn points by spending at two additional stores other than Gap. With my old credit card through American Eagle Outfitters you could only earn points from that store. This Gap card is so much better than my AEO card, they even offer a 23 day grace period and put a $35 cap on late fee. To top off all of this, card holders have the benefit of a weekly 10% discount!
This credit card is a great for guys who want to shop for their girlfriend and build good credit at the same time. You will not have to worry about over spending with this card because you will not use it much, only to buy your significant other a gift on credit. The terms are straight forward and very easy to understand. Compared to the American Eagle Outfitters credit card I used to have, this card is much better. There is a max late fee for the Victoria Secret card and a grace period, which was not offered by the AEO credit card.
