The APR is almost overly high, but this is a decent card if, like me, you shop at Menards frequently. The Menards Store Card offers decent bonuses for those shopping at participating stores, but they refuse to lower any of the rates regardless of how long you've been a loyal customer. Not too good of a practice, if you ask me. I haven't had any serious issues with it, but think before getting.
Overall, I'd say this is a good place to get your checking account. While I can't think of anything specific that stands out about BMO Harris, I've had no issues with my account there and I feel the fees are reasonable. Just be sure to keep your balance above the fee line and don't overdraw.
I cannot really recommend Mocse to anybody looking for a good checking account. I had an issue a while ago with someone stealing my identity and spending a good bit of the money I had in my account, and Mocse took an incredibly long time to resolve the issue and get my money back. It happened eventually, but I had to keep contacting them until they finally did something. The checking itself is good, but go with someone who cares about your money.
This is probably some of the best insurance you can get for your money. While the signup process was a little bit confusing, the service is more than worth it and the coverage is very comprehensive. The pricing is also very reasonable. I would recommend Donigan to anyone I know who needs insurance.
The discounts are good and I've had no issues with it.
I use this one all the time with no problems. Would recommend it!
This is decent compared to my MasterCard Gold. The American Express Platinum Card seems to have a high fee, but low late charge. I'd say give it some thought.
This BuyPower Card is honestly pretty bad. A lot of the fees for being late are outrageous and the APR is not very great compared to my MasterCard Gold.
The Walmart Prepaid Card is decent if you live near a walmart, but the reloading cost is outrageous. A main card is definitely better.
If you tend to shop at GAP, this card would be a great idea for you. The APR, while a bit on the high side, is only an issue if you don't pay on time, so I didn't have any problems with that. You can use this card across more than just GAP, too! You can also use it at Old Navy, Banana Republic, and a few others that I can't remember. There are also lots of benefits outside of that, such as the reward certificates you earn the more you use. Overall, I'd say this is a great card for someone who shops for clothes a lot.
