I have had 21st century for my car for three years. The price is fair, the customer service is ok, and their website is up to date and easy to use. I have filed two comprehensive coverage claims for break-ins. Both occasions went smooth however the repair was not perfect on one occasion, but you cannot blame that on the insurance company.
I have had A Chase savings account for several year now. The best thing about this account is that it is a good place to keep emergency money if you have any other chase products. The savings can easily be transferred to your checking account with chase with their easy to use website. The interest rate is lower than average but that is OK if you are just using the account for emergencies only. Chase has also recently redesigned their app and it is now very efficient and easy to use.
My family has been with Travis credit union for three generations. They are an honest credit union that really focuses on it's members. I am satisfied with my checking, savings, and auto loan with them. I also have a chase account and I must say that it is much easier to deal with Travis if there is an issue and I feel that they are more upfront about their fees. The downside is that their branches do get crowded every now and then but to me it is worth the wait.
The checking account is useful and efficient as there are many branches and atm's all around the country. Their website is usefull and their mobile banking app works good as well. The downside is that there are so many random fees that you would not expect and likely not notice unless you checked your statement. My card works well overseas but their customer service is difficult to deal with.
