I really like my checking account with Beneficial Bank. I used to have an account with Citizens, but I definitely prefer this one. One feature I really like is that I am able to avoid having to pay the $8 monthly fee because I have direct deposit. I was going to get direct deposit anyway, so the fact that I am able to be free of the monthly fee is an added bonus. The monthly fee is also avoided once you have at least $500 in your checking account which is definitely doable.
The AAA member Rewards Credit Card is an alright card. It is nothing special really. It has rewards that are AAA related such as car repairs and vouchers good for travel, but it also rewards you with a point system that gives you 2 points per $1 on gas, groceries and drug store purchases. This is a pretty decent amount of rewards for one card and it is especially beneficial to me because I travel by car a lot. Unfortunately, this card does have many drawbacks. For example, the interest rate on this card is a lot higher than a lot of similar cards I looked up. I have also had a couple issues with their customer service department when I tried to call in and dispute a couple of late charges. Their staff was pretty rude to me. Overall, I like this card because it gives me a lot of rewards so I am not going to cancel it, but I probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.
I definitely made a mistake by getting this American Eagle Outfitters Credit Card. I got lured in by the sales rep because she told me I could save 15% on my purchase. This sounded pretty good because at the time I was making a very big purchase for my sisters birthday and that 15% would have saved me about $50. I thought to myself, well I shop here a lot and I have to start building my credit so why not get discounts while I do it? But boy was I wrong. The interest rate at the time was in the mid 20s so I ended up paying back in interest what the measly 15% off coupon saved me. I was naive and did not know what I was getting myself in to. I was eventually able to pay off the full balance of what I owed and I vowed not to step foot inside an American Eagle for a couple months. As a result, my card was cancelled due to inactivity, but overall that was definitely for the better.
I got the NFL Credit Card because I am a die hard Eagles fan. I go to every game so it is very cool that i get 2 points per every $1 I spend on NF related purchases. With this card you also get 20% off at NFLShop.com. Overall, great card if your a huge NFL fan, if not the perks of this card wouldn't be very useful to you.
I just started using the Blue Cash Preferred card and I love it. I just got my $100 bonus and 1 free year of Amazon Prime because I spent $1,000 in the first 3 months! The only thing I don't like is that there is a $75 annual fee.
The Capitol One Venture Rewards Credit Card is PERFECT for a person that travels as much as I do. Whit this card I earn 2 miles/$1 I spend and it has no foreign transaction fees! The bottom line is, if you are a traveler like me, then I would definitely consider this card.
