This card is great as long as you are not late on your payments. The introductory 0% APR on purchases for the 1st 21 months is awesome as long as you maintain it. However, what my APR becomes after the introductory period being anywhere from 12 to 23% APR means I may only be using this card for the first 21 months.
The Walmart card is very useful when I'm low on cash and with a reasonable APR I don't have to worry too much about overspending on interest. I also like that there aren't any fees. However, there aren't any options beyond that so this card is pretty limited in what it can be used for since there aren't any cash back options so this card confines you to strictly Walmart purchases.
The Ink Bold Business Card seems like a perfect card for someone who is on the go. If you travel a lot then the gas and hotel rewards will be worth the $95 annual fee. Plus, since the rewards are for cell phones, landlines, internet, cable tv, online purchases, travel and gift cards I could see a lot of fathers with wives and kids finding this card to be a very attractive option.
Academy Bank is convenient to me because they're located in most Walmart stores in Colorado. However, the interest rate is horrible on a savings account at just 0.05%. Plus, they charge monthly fees on checking and savings accounts unless you make a certain number of purchases, they have a minimum balance requirement and they limit your withdrawals unless you want to pay another fee. Overall, not a great bank at all.
This is a good credit card if you need a short term way to buy things or pay bills if you don't have a bank account or are waiting for direct deposit or your account to verified. All in all, I am satisfied, but I think if you're comparing this kind of card to a typical credit card then you'll be disappointed. Either way, the convenience for times when you're in a pinch is unique to this service. Another good thing about this card is that it's a good for people who may not have the best credit in the world.
The Shell Gas Card seems like a really good deal for the first two months, but due to the high interest rate, I don't think I would use this card for anything but two months worth of gas purchases. The convenience of being able to use this card for gas anywhere there's a Shell, nationwide would be worth it, but after two months would just be a rediculously high interest rate credit card. It would be nice if the gas discount after two months was higher than five cents a gallon, so I would only use this for two months.
