I like a few of the features of this card, such as the fraud protection and the direct deposit feature, but I'm not terribly won over by the ATM fee or the monthly fee associated with this card. I like that they give you an option to open a savings account and 6% is a decent rate in today's economy. Overall I think this card is about average, but the features offered do make it a more attractive choice in the end. I think I may apply for this card and see if I like it after a few months.
I love all the incentives that are stacked onto this card. The 15% off first day purchases is a big bonus. I also like the zero fraud liability. I had my wallet stolen in the past and some of my cards at the time didn't offer this, what a nightmare that was. The interest rate on this is also lower than my Chase Slate card. This seems to be a pretty great deal all in all.
Overall I would have to say I am very pleased with the quality of service and the personal attention to the customer that I have received at City Credit Union. They were very helpful to me when I needed to apply for a loan to do some home improvements last summer. They answered all of my questions, and although the application process was a little lengthy, ultimately I was pleased with the service. They were very considerate and helped me get approved for a reasonable amount with a fair interest rate. I would recommend them to others.
The biggest complaint I have about my service experiences with Chase would definitely have to be the headache I received dealing with overdraft fees. The $35 charge in my opinion is pretty excessive and should be lower. Other than that, I have no real issues that I would consider notable. All in all I'd say Chase is about average on service and quality of customer care.
Recently I ran into a little problem with an online payment that I had set up to be recurring at one point, but no longer needed. So I contacted the bank and the customer service rep, I think her name was Monica, helped me take care of getting new bank cards issued to me to prevent any future unwanted transactions from taking place by discontinuing the cards I was using. The whole process while a little upsetting in general, was handled very well and I felt like the bank was really on top of helping me protect my assets. The new cards arrived within the week and I was back up and operating as usual. Thanks Comerica.
I switched to Travelers Insurance about three years ago after having a bad experience with a certain company whose mascot is a lizard. I hadn't needed to file a claim with Travelers until about 3 months ago. Not knowing what to expect, let me just say I am completely satisfied and surprised at the level and quality of the customer service I received. They actually seemed to care if I was taken care of and did everything they could to answer every question and address all my concerns. In the end my claim was approved and I was able to get my car repaired without any hassles. I'm definitely glad I has these guys to turn to when my car got wrecked.
I picked up this card because it has such a low regular rate and the max late fee wass reasonable. Since we use Walmart for so many things, it just made sense to take advantage of their store card for our business purposes. It's even allowed us to ween ourselves completely off of a different higher rate card we were using. So far I have no problems with this card and am glad we decided to apply for it. The savings in interest was immediately noticed by my accountant.
I probably wouldn't apply for the Belk Store Card for a few reasons. First of all I don't shop here much even though my wife does quite a bit. I prefer my Target store card because I shop there more, they have more of what I wear. The Belk card also has a higher interest rate, a shorter grace period and offers less incentives. My wife might want this card, but for me it just wouldn't make sense. Although I do like the Zero fraud liability offered by this card. I'll have to check around and see if my other cards offer this.
I like the Target Store Card. It's better than the Sears one I have. I like that I can get bonus points. And that I can get an extra 30 days for returns. And if I use it with my Target Pharmacy card, I get even more bonus back. Also because I do so much shopping from home, this card is great because it lets me get free shipping from the target.com . That alone is enough of a reason for me to use the card. I am definitely going to apply for one soon. Might even cut up my Sears store card.
