I really like my Walmart Card. I have cards with a few other stores, but this is the one I use the most. The $25 bonus when you open an account is nice; Barnes and Noble is the only other store card I have that offers that. Even though some Walmarts don't have a gas station, the one closest to me does, so I use the 5 cents off a gallon pretty much every time I fill up. It's a pretty good deal, and I like that you don't have to build up to it, and that the discount is constant instead.
I've had Auto-Owners since I got my licence 6 years ago, and I've been completely satisfied with them. A couple years ago I hit a tree during a snow storm and was worried that the car would have to be totaled. But the insurance company worked with both the repair shop and myself, and paid for the damages, even though the car did come very close to being totaled. Not only did my plan cover the repairs, I also didn't have to go through the process of buying a new car like I would have if they had declared it totaled.
I like this card for the most part. The 23 day grace period is great, especially for people who are especially busy. I also like that the max late fee is only $35, which is less than some of my other credit cards. The base earn of 5% off is good, but I wish there was an opportunity for that to increase the longer that you have the card. It would also be nice if they had a point system of some kind for bonus rewards; my Visa card has that and I really like it.
I generally really like Lake Trust and my checking account with them. When I went in to set up my account they were very helpful and answered any questions I had. The biggest issue I had was getting my checks ordered. They gave me the number of the company that they use, but I was on hold with the company for a long time, and then the actual process of ordering them took longer than I thought it would. But since then, I've been very pleased with the account.
I love the rewards that Brooks Brothers offers; the max earn of 4 pts/$1 is a really good deal. I also have a Visa card (that I got through Kroger), which I thought had a pretty good rewards system, but even it doesn't offer quite as many as this card. I also like that there isn't a reward limit, which hasn't been the case with some of my other credit cards. I do wish that this card had a smart chip; Kroger just added that to their cards, and it's nice to have that extra security.
