I have been a customer with Nationwide for 5 years. Nationwide offered me the best rate and coverage when I bought my new Kia Soul. Then a couple of years ago, I was rear-ended at a traffic light. I called them up to report the accident, and everything went amazingly smooth! I was so impressed with the whole process. First and foremost, they asked if I was ok. They took care of every single detail, including doing a detailed inspection of the vehicle. I was able to take it to whatever repair shop that I wanted, so I did. The total damage was around $1,000, and Nationwide took care of every cent. It was such a pleasant experience, and I couldn't be happier with them. Their customer service is awesome!
I was buying a new car when a friend of mine recommended that I look into Mission Federal to finance the car. I was so impressed with their services! They were able to offer me the lowest finance rate available, which saved me a TON of money over the life of my loan. They have excellent customer service. The only complaint that I have is with their online banking services. I just wish their online banking was a little more user friendly. Also, since they do not have that many branches available throughout the city, I wish that you could do more through online banking.
This is a great card. I do a lot of shopping on Amazon, so the rewards were especially appealing to me. When I signed up, I got a $65 bonus Amazon gift card to spend immediately. The reward system is hassle-free, unlike many other cards. Each month, your points are converted into a dollar reward which can then be used immediately toward Amazon purchases, or you can wait until you have $20 accrued and apply it as a payment toward your credit card balance. Very convenient. And the rewards are nice. 3% on Amazon purchases, 2% on gas, dining, drug stores, 1% on everything else.
This is a great account! When I opened the account, it was ING Direct. I was attracted by the fact that it is a free account that does not require a minimum balance. Being an online-only account, the overhead expenses are lower, which means they can pass these savings on to the customer. When the company was taken over by Capital One, everything went so smoothly and all the features remained the same, which I appreciated. They offer competitive interest rates (which aren't that great right now, but a little bit is better than nothing!) and they are FDIC insured, which is a must. Their customer service is always very pleasant. I had to call them to change the name on my account due to a change in my last name after marriage, and it was very easy to complete. Overall, I would highly recommend this account!
I love my BofA checking account. There is no monthly fee if you have your paycheck automatically direct deposited into your account. I have been a customer with them for years, and have never been disappointed. The mobile app is very useful for depositing checks, checking balances, paying bills, etc. They do not charge for bill pay, which is nice. My only complaint is that occasionally in the past, they post transactions in an odd order, so I've been hit with an overdraft fee when I really shouldn't have. But they will sometimes waive it, if your argument is compelling enough. Other than that, I love this account!
