I have been a Plumas Bank customer since before I can remember. I opened my first checking account with them! I love their customer service the most, that is what has kept my loyalty over the years even when bigger banks moved to town. They are always helpful in person and over the phone.
I have been a Wells Fargo customer since 2001. They have always been helpful from offering me custom products and services to resolving disputes and problems. Once a bank teller realized I was being overcharged for a checking account and offered me a cheaper product. You don't often hear about banks trying to save the customer money!
I have had my Wells Fargo Way 2 Save savings and checking account combo for several years now. The interest rate isn't great, especially since I don't have a lot of money in there, but it is a convenient and easy to use service. I like that it automatically takes a dollar from my checking account for every purchase. It makes it really easy to save money. I also like that it backs up my checking account for any possible over draft charges. I was, however, surprised that I was penalized for making too many withdrawls in a single month. I lost my job and was frustrated that I had to pay to use my own money in an emergency.
I love my Way2Save Checking account. I've been a Wells Fargo customer since 2001. Way2Save makes it easy to put money away, but I mostly stick with WF because of their customer service. I recently had to report some fraudulent charges on my account and they responded promptly, returned my money, and communicated with me during the entire investigation process. I was shocked. I don't find that level of service with a lot of companies these days.
