The Banana Republic Credit Card is a great card if you shop the stores they reward you for shopping at. The rewards points add up quick and you get a fifteen percent discount which is awesome! You also get points for signing up for alerts and paperless makes it even better! The biggest problem I have seen is the twenty-three percent interest.
I opened a Bank of America Interest Checking Account. There is no minimum to open, but the monthly fee is pretty high, and the minimum balance to avoid the monthly fee is $10,000 which I like most people could not keep in my account. The overdraft fee is kind of high too. The customer service was really good though. The people I talked to were kind and helpful.
I have had an Ally Bank Online Savings Account for awhile now. I opened my savings account with Ally for the great interest rates. There is also no minimum opening deposit and no minimum balance that you have to keep in the account. They also have no monthly fee and you get checks with the savings account. I have other Ally accounts and the customer service is the best I have ever encountered. There are always live people you talk to when you call the customer service. The only thing I have found difficult about the account is depositing money because there is no physical branch in my area. I do my banking all online so that does not bother me, but some people find this a problem.
I love 21st Century Insurance. They have the nicest customer service I have ever dealt with the are kind, couteous, and very helpful. I shopped around and looked at many different insurance companies. 21st Century had the best rates for me. I have had no wrecks so I have had no problems in that aspect. I have been with them for five years and instead of my rates going up like most companies my premium actually went down. This is the best insurance company I have ever had. If you want a company that cares for its customers I recommend 21st Century.
The Journey Student Rewards Card from Capital One seems like a good card. There is a twenty-five day grace period. There is one percent cash back on all your purchases and if you pay on time you get an extra twenty-five percent back on everyday purchases. The APR is pretty high at nineteen percent, but the is extra cash back for paying on time incentives help. They also raise your credit limit if you pay your bill on time five times most companies take awhile to raise your limit. This is a good card for college students looking to save money and help build some credit.
The Volero Credit card is an okay card. The more gas you buy with your card the more you save on gas up to eight cents a gallon. The twenty-three percent interest rate is really high, but you can you this credit card and save money on gas. You also save more per gallon if you use higher grades of fuel. The company lets you choose the date to make your payments so you can site it up for payday. They also give you a twenty-one day grace period, but you need to pay within the grace period because the interest raises to twenty-seven percent after that. I don't really think this card is worth the APR.
The Crate and Barrel Credit Card is useful if you are a regular customer and you can pay off the balance every month since it has a high interest rate. You also get rewards dollars for every two hundred dollars you spend which helps. The fact that they give you a twenty-five day grace period is cool, unexpected things happen. The late fees are a little high and you get 0% apr for the first six months.
The Mango Prepaid Card is a good prepaid card. There are low ATM fees only two dollars. It also has a low monthly fee, and with direct deposit you can open a savings account with six percent interest. You get free direct deposit with just two small deposits in ninety days. The reload options are very conveniet you can reload it most places that do money transfers.
I recently opened an Ally Bank Interest Checking Account. There are no monthly fees. There is no minimum balance or opening deposit. There are no ATM fees, and if you do get charged an ATM fee they will reimburse you. You get free checks and a free debit card after you make an initial deposit. You can also deposit checks with your smart phone. The overdraft fee is only nine dollars. Online bill paying and money transfer is free as well.
I have had the Capital One Quicksilver Card for a few months now and I had no problems using it anywhere. It is nice they give you a grace period for those unexpected problems where you cannot make your payment right away. The cash back is nice as well because it is on all of your purchases so I use it all the time. And no annual fee is good I really should not have to pay for my credit card.
I have had a Chase Total Checking Account for a year now, and I have had no customer service problems. It has been hard to keep the $1500 minimum in the account, but Chase is the most convenient bank to deal with. The bank and ATM locations are frequent and easy to find. Almost any town you go to has a Chase bank. And all of the personnel I have met are kind and helpful.
I think that Direct Express Prepaid MasterCard is good for those receiving government funds. It works in most places since it is a Debit Mastercard. It makes paying bills online easy and you can use it at the post office to purchase money orders that is conveniet. It does not have any fees and the ATM fee is only $0.85 which is less than a lot of other cards. This website is also convenient and makes it easy to link a bank account to the card. I would recommend this card to anyone looking for a credit card for their benefits check.
I have used my Chase Freedom credit card often and have never had any problems with it in stores or online. The customer service is informative and courteous. The fees and apr are affordable. The cash back and rewards programs are not hard to achieve so you feel like you get something back! I will continue to use this card in the future, and will recommend it to anyone who asks me about credit cards!!
