No credit card needed
So this card is a double edge sword. On one end, it allows you to purchase something that may be a little out of your price range for 0% for 18-48mo, and on the other end, it allows you to do just that, often spending much more than you anticipated. Obtaining the card was exceptionally easy. I needed a new laptop and didn't want to charge it to my personal credit card. I told a store clerk what i needed and all of a sudden i was approved for an exceptionally high amount. I didn't complain. The one gripe i did have however, is you cant have your cake and eat it to. What i mean by that, is either you can choose their 0% financing like i did for my laptop, or you can get 5% cash back on your purchase. Honestly, I don't mind that much as I can make my money work harder for me during that 18mo time frame than what it would have gotten me had i done the cash back. Overall, as long as you don't miss a payment(read the T&C if you do), this card is an excellent payment plan.
So here is why i like this card and why i have continued to use it. I initially did a balance transfer over from my freedom card after I had my roof replaced, but then i found myself using this for all of my travel expenses. What is great about this card, is the ability to get your free FICO score. I still do use my freedom card, but this card is always in my wallet in the event i need it. Overall, it is a very solid, what i could consider "basic" card for whatever life throws at you.
I've been using this card for a few years now. Overall, its a very solid card, especially around the holidays. the 1% cash back on everything is nice, however there is always a 5% cash back option like gas, Zappos, Kohl's, or Amazon. Amazon is always around December, so it fits my shopping habits very well. Overall, the card is very solid in its offerings and it comes with no annual fee which I was even a bigger fan of.
Very unsatisfied with her help. I am a first time home buyer and I chose her thinking that I would have her help every step of the way. Sadly i was very very wrong. Not only did she get information to me late, but she sat on an accepted offer letter for 2 weeks before saying "hey, do you have a chance to sign the rate locking sheets?" 2 weeks?! Completely unacceptable work on her end. Only reason the loan got done was because I had made sure the director of residential lending was made aware of the situation. Very unhappy and would stay away at all costs.
