The Kaiku Prepaid Visa is similar to most prepaid credit cards. The card has a monthly fee of three dollars which is typical. One of the benefits for this card is that there are many ATMs you can use with no charge. You can take a picture of a check to deposit it that is convenient. You get to choose from many colors which gives your card a more personal feel. If you do have to use an ATM their ATM fee is not as much as some cards charge. I have had many prepaid credit cards, and this card is one of the best.
I have recently started banking with Ally Bank. I had heard good things so I decided to try Ally. They have few fees on their checking and savings account, and the fees they do charge are low. The customer service is excellent, Ally has live customer service all day and night, and the customer service representatives are courteous and helpful. I have had no problems with Ally. This is my new go to bank.
I recently opened an Ally Bank Interest Checking Account. This is the best checking account I have found. No monthly minimum, no minimum opening deposit, and no ATM fees. The customer service is top notch and they have live people all the time. The overdraft fee is only $9. I like being able to deposit checks from my smartphone or computer, that makes checks more convenient.
I have been a customer of 21st Century for years. When my credit was not very good and I was a high risk driver the other companies wanted two to three hundred dollars a month, and my premium would raise without any notice. So I decided to try 21st century and they offered me the same insurance the other companies were at about one hundred dollars a month big diference. I had an accident not long after I started my policy. I had no troubles getting everything taken care of, they paid quick! What really surprised me was that my rates did not raise. Any other company I have used raised my rates without me knowing. They did not raise them after I had an accident.
The L.L. Bean Credit Card is a cool card. You can earn rewards on everyday purchase, and you earn more rewards when you buy L.L. Bean merchandise. You also get coupons off L.L. Bean purchases as you shop. All your returns and monograms from L.L. Bean are free that's awesome. The APR varies, but it does stay pretty low. If you want to purchase Discovery School courses you get ten percent when you use this card. This card is a great card for anyone who loves the outdoor life. The only think I do not like is the cash advance rate being at twenty-five percent. Other than that this card is awesome!
The PenFed Platinum Rewards Visa Signature Card is good if you like to travel. You can earn points on purchases. You earn five points on gas purchases, three points on supermarket purchases, and one on everything else that is nice if you travel a lot. They have a nice grace period. The APR is kind of high, but there are ones that are much higher. Also if you have a balnce to transfer you APR gets dropped low on that so it would be best if you have a balance to transfer onto this card. YOu also get a lot of other travel benefits with this card. If you travel this is not a bad card.
The Open Sky Secured Visa Credit Card is a good credit building card. It has a lower APR than most other credit builders. There are multiple ways to fund your card without a checking account. It is not good that they charge a twenty-five dollar fee to raise your credit limit. You have to send them money before you can use the card. The foreign transaction fee is low as well as the cash advance fee. The annual fee is pretty low and the late fee is not very high either. All in all this is a pretty good card for credit building.
I have recently opened an Ally Bank Online Savings Account. I decided to open this account because it has a good interest rate. The customer service is great and there are live people all the time. I like having the checks and debit card that are linked into my savings account because you never know when an emergency can happen. There is no minimum balance and there is also no monthly fees or minimum to open the account either. The online banking website is easy to navigate and even easier to use. I would recommend this savings account to anyone who does most of their banking online.
I have had my Chase Total Checking for 8 months. The $12 monthly fee is cheap. If you have direct deposit the monthly fee is waved which I like and is helpful, because I find it hard to keep the $1500 mininum balance. I like that there are no fees to pay my bills online with my checking account. The Chase branch and ATM locations are convenient.
