When I was looking to buy my first home I was looking for help to get everything going as it was my first time. I worked with Michael Glist and he really helped out quite a bit. Made the entire process smooth and easy. I had no problems at all, he answered every question I had and walked us through the process step by step. I would highly recommend him to others.
When I moved to a new area I needed a local branch bank to go to. A friend of mine recommended Yolo Federal Credit Union as they had used them in the past and were satisfied with the service. I can't say anything bad about them. No fees or anything like that which is always welcome. They have great service as well, and there are ATM machines all over the place. You can't beat that kind of great service!
When I was looking for car insurance after my first car, I went with nationwide as my parents had used them for many years and had nothing but positive experiences with them. I haven't had to file a claim myself yet but the process is smooth from what I hear. The price was also very good as well, much better then some of the other companies I checked out. So far I'm very happy with nationwide for car insurance.
I needed a good bank with the best online features. Depositing checks by going to a local branch had become a huge hassle, and because of my schedule I just didn't have time to stand in line for a teller. A friend recommended Ally bank and after I saw them use the mobile app to deposit a check I switched immediately. No fees of any kind, great online features for banking. You really can't go wrong with them.
I signed up with TD bank a few years ago and I was very pleased with it. Any bank that has decent customer service and no add on fees is good in my book. TD Bank served it's purpose very well when I was with them. I've since switched to another bank but I was always satisfied with their service. The main reason why I switched was because I wanted to support a local credit union. But if I was going to choose another bank I would go with TD bank again. Their no fees and overall good service really can't be beat.
