I applied for a Peebles card, which is a Comenity bank card, and I was approved after they sent a letter and confirmed some things. I had a credit score in the mid 500's and started with a $200 CL in October a…

I have used Credit Karma for about 5 years but just started using it regularly for about 8 months. Credit Karma is an awesome free way to keep a good eye on your report info and scores. You only get availability of Trans Union and Equifax. It gives you suggestions on what credit cards you may be approved for and so far Ive been approved for about 5 cards and my score has risen. Great monitoring. I get an email when something changes on my report. Its worth having especially cause its FREE..
The Chase Liquid Prepaid card is an OK card. I had to go into the local Chase branch to set it up and they make it like its a checking account to set it up, but you dont get a credit check ran on you. I dont like the fees per month either and the fact that you have deposit $25. There are other cards that do just the same and you dont have to put any certain amount on at once. It is what it is, just a typical pre-paid card.
The UPside Prepaid Debit Card looks to be like a really great card. The best thing about this card to me is that you earn 15% cash back on your purchases. The second best thing I love is that you have the option to have actual checks drawn on your account (for a fee but hey its an awesome benefit). There are fees associated with the card but most cards are like that. I had a WalMart Money Card and I paid 3.95 a month unless there was $1000 or more deposited in a given month. UPside charges $1 more but if you load more than $500 its only 0.99 a month and you have all the other benefits of the card. To me its truly a prepaid card that I would use and be totally happy with! This card can be used anywhere with a Visa logo. I LOVE THE IDEA OF THE UPSIDE PREPAID CARD.
I used State Auto insurance because it was the best most affordable rate for me. Coverage was excellent and payment options were great as well. I always had great customer service when it comes to Wetzel Valley Agencies, Thats who Provided my State Auto insurance Policy to me. The down payment to start the policy was very affordable as well. If your credit score is pulling you down or you have some bruises on your driving history, they may be able to help you out and not break your wallet.
I have banked with several banks due to moving and divorcing, etc.. WoodForest National Bank is honestly the most convenient and easy going bank I have ever dealt with. This bank offers second chance checking to those of us that have had some issues in our lives. They are a very fair bank. I have a couple favorite aspects of this bank. First is Mobile deposits. Snap a pic of your check and submit through the app and you will get a notification within 30 minutes accepted or rejected and most of the time its available the next day.. The other thing I love about this bank is if you run your account negative and the item is still pending, as long as you deposit while its pending you dont get charged a fee and it clears itself up instantly. WoodForest is the best. They offer loans too!
The Kohls card is AWESOME! You get special discounts when using your credit card that you wouldnt get without it up to 12 times a year. The convenience is amazing, I love using my card when shopping online for gifts and for me. The interest rate is comparable to other cards. First time users get a discount on the first purchase too. Its a great card, coupons and discounts galore. Its a must have! I have a few store cards and Kohls is my favorite because of the deep discounts you can get.
First Choice America Community Federal Credit Union is a great place for your financial needs. I opened an account with them because they had a branch in the hospital that I worked in making it amazingly easy to get my financial needs in order. Even if you dont have a checking with them and you have a savings you get a debit card for your savings. They have low rate financing and childrens accounts as well. I give them a GREAT rating. There are several branches to fit your needs.
I absolutely loved Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union. The hours were great. The way they posted deposits was great. The checking/savings accounts were great. Customer service was above and beyond like no other. They always did what they could for me. The reason Im talking past tense, I moved out of state and there was no way to continue. They have reasonable rates on loans and the Dollar Dog savings for childrens accounts. They have drawings all the time. Very family oriented Credit Union. They offer Credit Cards too and loans, mortgages, etc. I would recommending BHFCU to anyone
The Capital One Quicksilver Card is a great card for slow credit. I applied and got approved right away with a score under 600. I got an initial credit limit of $500 and thats not so bad. This card has rewards too, you cant beat that. Low APR and Interest rates are a plus. The more you spend the more rewards you earn. You get a credit line increase after the first 5 on time payments. Something to look forward to I cant wait. This card does have a small annual fee. You also get credit tracker with your card account as well. GREAT FOR STARTERS.
My experiences with Wesbanco arent that great. Wesbanco is a typical banking institution. Hours are average for the lobby and drive through banking. I didnt like the way I was made to feel when I walked into the lobby. I didnt feel like I was wanted as a customer, kind of like I was bothering the tellers. One of the local branches here where i am does have banking hours on Sunday, drive through only, but I like that aspect. I thought the checking fees were high unless you had a certain amount of money deposited monthly. They dont really offer any sort of second chance checking either so if you have messed up and have info in check systems you are likely to get rejected. I had some not so good times when I had a negative balance and The fact that they instantly charge you the fee even if the item causing the negative balance is still pending, really disgusts me. My current bank does not punish you that way, as long as you deposit money while the item is pending all is well. I think when banks do that they are just gouging for money, like they dont already make enough. Over all my opinion of Wesbanco is not good and I would never bank with them again.
The Union Plus card looks to have really awesome benefits. The first positive is that it has no annual fee and secondly the interest rate and APR are not out of this world. This card is for Union members and isnt available to non union members. One negative that caught my eye is a charge to do balance transfers. This card does have rewards with no limits too. I see that after 3 months you are eligible for hardship grants and thats a huge plus. Naturally like most cards they dont cater to bruised to bad credit. Good and excellent credit ratings are a must. Overall a great card to look into for the benefits if nothing else.
I was a Nationwide customer for 5 plus years. The office is very friendly and always accommodated my needs. I could call anytime and make changes to my policy. I had to have a windshield repaired and it was done at work. I loved that I didnt have to leave work! The policy prices were very affordable and the payment options were great as well. Coverage was exactly what I wanted with Low or no deductibles. Definitely a company that you can trust your insurance needs with. Very welcoming insurance company and have always treated me with respect.
